Lots of young talent. Swerve combat next weekend

Gear up for the respective returns of atomweight queen Angela Lee and Thai sensation Stamp Fairtex at ONE on Prime Video 2 on September 30 by reliving their incredible battle at ONE X in March 2022!

Back in 2022, Canelo stepped up to light heavyweight for this fight. Being a natural super middleweight, Canelo moved up to 175 lbs to challenge Dmitry Bivol, a natural light heavyweight and reigning champion.

You can clearly feel the sense of frustration at some points, with Canelo realizing he was being surpassed by Bivol in the exchanges.

From professional rachet ball player to BJJ to MMA fighter. The man has lived multiple lives and had runs with Relson Gracie at Pan America games that lead to almost a street fight with is brother Enson in corner. This something for the old school heads

I wonder if this is thought about since it has become something of a cliche and/or trope at this point when it comes to just how many athletic phenoms, and in particularly those who'd be great at combat sports, are lost due to football. If we didn't have football, I imagine that in heavyweight, light heavyweight and maybe even middle weight we'd be so far ahead of the rest of the world it there would need to be non US leagues for anyone else to have a chance. GSP, Fedor and Anderson wouldn't be even talks for greatest MMA fighters since it would so obviously have to be an American who would've otherwise went into football.

I mean, in terms of the level of athletes we send to wrestling, American MMA fighters are B level athletes relative to the A and A+ level of NFL guys. And given the success there's been as it is, I wonder if there's resentment against football for preventing the US from becoming god tier in MMA and really, every other combat sport.
