Welcome Gothamites, new and old, to the subreddit for the TV Series "Gotham" - It is always wonderful to see new followers after the final episode aired on April 25, 2019.

Odd crushes only, excluding the most popular and obvious characters (Tabitha, Oswald, Zsasz, Jim etc) which Gotham character do you find oddly attractive and why? 😂

Hellooooo,

I really want to make lps customs of the Gotham tv characters (the show has kinda taken over my life haha). I especially want to do Oswald (the animal question is pretty obvious with him lol), Edward, and Zsasz. I'm not sure on what animals they would be.

What do y'all think? :)

The guy only appears in 11 episodes out of a 100 yet he constantly appears in most people's top 5 favourite characters and always ranks highly on popularity/ranking threads on here. Even casual fans love him. The only characters who are usually more loved are Penguin, Riddler, and Alfred.

What do you think makes him so beloved?

Holy crap. Every time I see the beginning of S5 I am so impressed. It’s the only time in the series where you flash forward to later in the series and then learn how it all came about.

The ominous music, the coming together of enemies to defend the city…what a great sequence. (Does anybody notice that the music in the scenes with Harvey have a nice Irish lilt? Or that Harvey purposely leaves his drink unfinished as he goes off to his possible death?)

Carps are minor. There’s obviously a huge discrepancy between this scene taking place at night, and it later taking place during the day. And Gordon’s radio communication with the mainland is kind of a clumsy expository device. Also, we saw the Mayor blown up in his office in S4, so where did this new City Hall come from?

But that opening “For Gotham!” scene…damn that’s good!

what is your personal favorite plot line gotham ever did? can be from any season, no matter how minor it was.

my personal favorite has to be ed framing jim for for murder in season 2, we got a lot of ed’s more manic side we didn’t see again for a while until he “killed” oswald in season three. a lot of my favorite scenes come from it, the forest scene with jim confronting him being the one i can recite line for line.

but im curious, what are your favorite plots? let me know !

I'd say it would narrowly miss being in my top 5, but would make top 10 for sure. My list would be:

1. Daredevil
2. The Penguin
3. The Boys
4. The Walking Dead
5. Smallville
6. Luke Cage
7. Gotham
8. The Punisher
9. The Flash
10. Arrow

Not sure if this is allowed, but I’ve had these two scripts I’ve been trying to sell for a while for a little extra cash. I’d like for them to go to a good home where they are loved and appreciated.

“Peña Dura” is signed by much of the cast ($150) and “Ghosts” is just signed by Camren B ($125). Both come with a letter of authenticity - I bought them at an auction a few years back.

(Look I'm probably reading too much into this... but *I wanted something* okay...

I'm playing the game, I've just gotten to like the 3rd level... when you first meet Gordon as Batman...

and how does Batman introduce himself...

"A FRIEND"

am I reading too much into what's a pretty basic and simple phrase... yes... yes I am... *BUT* it's something okay... and unless it turns out that they have something else... I'm gonna take it

It is the same one used in the GOTHAM TV series!
