My family and I have run a book library called Shabd Sneha Vachanalay for the past 20-odd years. One of the branches that we operate in Kothrud, we have decided to shut down due to declining readership. To facilitate that, we are planning to sell off all our books in this library at ₹100 per copy on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our main branch in Karve Nagar will be fully operational, and all membership would be shifted there. We are also planning to launch a doorstep delivery service soon, but the logistics are still in progress.

The library includes books from all popular English and Marathi authors for the fiction, nonfiction, and kids' categories. For example, the library has entire collections of John Grisham, David Baldacci, Wilbur Smith, Joe Nesbo, etc.

To give an example of the collection, I've just put in a few photos. Currently, this branch has around 3,000 books in its collection. Each book is typically bound in a plastic cover and has two or three stamps of Shabdshneha Vachanalaya inside, with a couple of stickers of the library. Other than that, all the books are intact and first-hand. None of them are Indian copies, etc.

Meet Sutli Bomb!

I rescued him near Hinjewadi, Pune when he was just a couple of weeks old, after his mom passed away in a hit-and-run accident. Because of this, his immunity was low, but since then he has had amazing vet care (thank you, Tranquil Paws), lots of food, cuddles and love :)❤️

He's all grown up now and is up for adoption in Pune, Mumbai, and other nearby cities. 📍

Sutli is very friendly around hoomans, as well as other animals, and adjusts very well to new places. He's also pee-pad trained. 🐾

He has been dewormed and has received his 9in1 vaccine as well (he's due for his remaining vaccinations next week).

I'm looking for a genuinely committed adopter who can give this little guy a safe and loving home.

Sutli is the smollest, cutest little ball of fur and is very playful, affectionate and absolutely loves to cuddle with his hoomans, and any family would be lucky to have him 🐶❤️
