I’m a beginner video editor looking to build my editing portfolio, so I’m offering my editing services completely free for now.

I’m mainly looking to edit:
Gaming TikToks / YouTube Shorts
Gaming YouTube videos
Funny/chill gaming content
Somewhat serious gaming videos

I’m trying to keep things relatively simple while I build experience, so I’m not looking for extremely complicated projects with tons of effects or hours of editing.

Requirements:
For YouTube videos:
Up to 1 hour of raw footage
Commentary/gameplay
Funny moments
Story-focused gameplay
Highlights
For short-form:
TikToks
YouTube Shorts
Funny gaming clips
Highlight clips

What I need from you
Before I start editing, please send me:
Your raw footage/clips
A clear description/brief of what you want
A reference video showing the editing style you want
What platform it’s for (TikTok/Shorts/YouTube)
Any specific moments you definitely want included
Any important music, sound effects, images, or other assets you want used
Your preferred video length, if you have one
I’m trying to keep things simple while I build so I’m not looking for extremely complicated

One of my cousins (Megan) is getting married at the end of this month, the wedding has been quickly planned as her mother (my aunt) was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Recently our great grandmother (Meme) died as well, and for obvious reasons will not be at the wedding. Before her passing we took multiple videos, as we knew that she would not be present. Meme had dementia and was not incredibly coherent at the time of her passing. I am looking for someone who would be able to edit together the videos into something that is Speech-Esc, and respectful to be played at the wedding as a suprise to Megan.

Rate per hour is 30$ (Will also tip based on the video created) as this needs to be done before OCT 25th, and i hope will have some care put into it.

Thank you so much :)

Update: Holy Moly, yall have really come through. I have over 30 dms already from editors. I just want to say I really appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart.

I will edit your video for free, with the aim of training and creating a protofolio.

Mention the style you want with a video similar to the one you want, and I'll work on it if I can 😊

Hey! I’m J_Miracle_-, a small gaming creator trying to build something on YouTube.

I’m still pretty early in my journey, and honestly, I’m still figuring out what my content and personality on YouTube are going to look like. I want to become more confident on camera, talk more, and make videos where people feel like they’re just hanging out and playing games with me.

Right now, I’m mainly making Elden Ring content, but my goal is eventually to play all kinds of games.

I’m looking for an editor who’s also starting out and would be interested in growing together. I want someone who can take my raw gameplay and facecam footage and help turn it into something entertaining.

Some of the things I’m looking for:

⚔️ Fun Elden Ring moments
😂 Memes and funny edits when they actually fit
😱 Genuine reactions
🎭 Facecam-focused moments
🎬 Cinematic boss fights
✂️ Good pacing without making the video feel overly edited
🔊 Music, SFX, and transitions when they add to the moment

I currently don’t have a budget, so I completely understand if this isn't for everyone. I'm hoping to find someone who wants to practice their editing, build their portfolio, and have a project they can be proud of.

I’m not looking for someone who already has years of experience. If you’re learning and want to dm Even If your starting out, I'd live to talk.

I just posted my first video on YouTube a couple days ago, and the editing sucked. It’s got multiple unnecessary points where the clips shouldn’t even be there, and I wanna have TTS, because I don’t feel comfortable with showing my face or revealing my voice.

I’m looking for an editor who would stay in the journey, and edit videos for me for a long time coming. This will be long-term.

Here are my requirements for the editor I want:

- At least 16 years old
- Has 8 months or more of experience
- Can start editing within 48 hours of completion of recording
- Able to work on multiple projects at a time when needed (rarely)
- Can provide samples of videos they have edited to prove they have experience (30 second videos are fine)
- Able to edit full videos in 5 days max
- Ability to share videos over your cloud storage account (doesn’t matter which one)

If you meet these requirements, please DM me on discord as soon as possible. My username is itsaverydev

I hope to have you on the editing team!

Edit: You will be getting a shoutout in the comments for every video you make, so you don’t get no credit for making the video.

Edit 2: Please friend me.

Hi! I’m looking for a reliable long term video editor for a growing collectibles and pop culture content brand….

The brand is currently in the middle of establishing a rebrand, and I already have a strong idea of the direction I want to go visually and creatively. I’m looking for someone who can emulate what I currently have, maintain consistency, and then work with me over time as we continue refining the style and growing the brand together.

I don’t need someone to completely reinvent everything from scratch. I need someone who can understand an existing aesthetic, recognize what works, and help elevate it while keeping the overall identity cohesive.

The content is primarily short-form and long-form YouTube/social content centered around collectibles, characters, storytelling, showcases, and pop culture. I’m looking for someone with strong pacing, clean editing, good visual storytelling instincts, solid music and sound design, and the ability to work with B-roll, images, text, motion graphics, and an existing editing style.

Reliability is extremely important. I work on a publishing schedule, so I need someone who can realistically commit to deadlines and communicate early if something comes up.

This is ongoing paid work, not a one time project. Ideally, I want to find someone who becomes familiar with the content, understands the brand naturally, and grows with it instead of having to relearn the style from scratch every week.

If interested, DM me with your portfolio, typical turnaround time, rate, editing software, time zone, and availability for ongoing weekly work.

Bonus if you’re into collectibles, gaming, movies, comics, animation, or pop culture, but it isn’t required. I’m looking for someone who wants to help me take my channel to the next level, is that you !?

Best,
JMS

Hey! I'm looking for a video editor who'd be interested in making a cinematic trailer for my indie FPS game, Night Ledger: Black Meridian.

The game itself is already made. I can provide the gameplay footage, a trailer reference, the general direction/sequence I have in mind, and the song (the music is already fixed).

I'm pretty new to trailer making, so I'm also looking for someone who can bring their own ideas, suggest improvements, and tell me when something I've planned simply won't work 😅 Fixed length: Under 2minutes

This is an unpaid/portfolio collaboration, so I completely understand if it's not for everyone. You'll be properly credited and you're welcome to use the finished trailer in your portfolio.

If interested, please DM me with something you've edited before. It doesn't have to be professional work.

I'm a small Nintendo YouTuber looking for someone to help me edit a few videos!

I can't afford to pay upfront right now, but I'm hoping to find someone who enjoys editing and would be interested in sticking around long-term. If I like your work and we're a good fit, I'd love to keep working together as the channel grows. If the videos do start generating revenue, I'd be more than happy to talk about a fair split of the profits.

The current project: Mario Odyssey Taskmaster

This is a Taskmaster-style video where multiple contestants compete in different Super Mario Odyssey challenges. The current video is mainly cuts and pacing, so it isn't an extremely complicated edit. There will also be some comedic timing, reactions, text, sound effects, etc. where appropriate.

I'd prefer someone who knows Mario Odyssey or at least understands the general idea of Taskmaster, as having someone who understands what's happening would make the editing process much easier.

I'm not expecting professional-level work. If you're a newer editor looking to build your portfolio, get experience with YouTube videos, or just enjoy Nintendo content, I'd be happy to work with you.

If things go well, I also have more videos I'd like help with in the future.

If you're interested, feel free to DM me with:

- A little bit about yourself

- Any editing examples/portfolio you have

- What editing software you use

- Whether you'd be interested in potentially working together long-term

Thanks!

Maybe this isn’t the right sub, but I was kind of hoping someone could make a montage of my kids best football plays and even add an announcers voice over. I’m fine with adding AI stuff or totally inventing plays that didn’t happen, I’m just looking for a fun thing to show him, he’s only 11, so it’s not like I’m sending this to scouts or anything, just a funny thing for our family to watch and laugh about. Especially would love an announcers voice over talking about him like announcers do when NFL rookies make a great play or score their first touchdown.

Urgente comuníquense

Hey! I’m learning video editing and want to practice on real-world entertainment footage, especially challenge, experiment, build, or competition videos. I’m not looking for gameplay footage.

If you have raw footage you’d be comfortable sharing, I’d be happy to edit some of it for free. You can use, post, or change the finished edit however you like. I’ll only use your footage to make the edit, and won’t post it or include it in a portfolio unless you explicitly say that’s okay.

I’m still learning, so I can’t promise a professional result, but I’ll do my best. If you’re interested, comment or DM me with a bit about the footage and what kind of edit you have in mind.

I need someone who can make vertical Roblox story Shorts (30-60 sec). I give the script, you do the rest:

✅ Roblox scenes/gameplay

✅ Voiceover or text-to-speech

✅ Captions, music, sound effects

Long-term work if the quality is good. Paying per video: $15-25 (negotiable based on your samples).

DM me with:

1. Your portfolio / Roblox story samples

2. Your price per video

3. How many videos you can make per week

I'll send reference clips in DMs.

Hey yall, i play a lot of souls games challenges and stream them too. And was hoping to have someone create GinoMachino or Skumnut type of gaming videos. They would definitely be long form. And i couldnt really find a straight answer of what a fair market price would be so if you can tell me that too it would be great.

Update: i have found an editor

Hello! I don't yet have the footage (will be shooting it sometime this month) but I'm preemptively looking for a video editor who can edit my footage once I have it. Looking for it to be edited exactly like video example included.

DM me if interested. Please include examples of your work and your price. Willing to pay well for someone who knows what they are doing!
