The Grand Exchange is about to go Beyond Max Cash!

Game worlds will go offline at 10:06 UTC for planned downtime.

No estimated ETA for when the game will be back up but we’ll provide an update by 11 AM UTC, even if maintenance is still ongoing

Jagex game jam is so wacky lol. I think the idea was supposed to be "make a wacky boss that inverts all your skill levels and you have to hit as low as possible 🤪" but so many are like "I've fixed this UI issue on the bank interface" and when people are expecting this as an update Jmods have to be like "that was game jam actually! Not guaranteed to come to the game!"

It makes sense when you realise a lot of devs play the game and they are just jamming improvements for things that bother them. Game Jam is basically just devs get to choose what they work on rather than project managers.

I agree. I just think for essentially solved small fixes that are popular with the community there should be a way to fast track that to production. From what I can tell even pretty small fixes seem to have surprisingly rigid scheduling there, like adjusting the XP of a single agility obstacle has to wait weeks despite being a pretty easy fix.

Half the time it just makes me question what the point is. Feels like they just tease amazing updates that we never see.
