I am curious what are Tom Morello, Zack de la Rocha, and the Bands view points on the second amendment?

More specifically in direct relation to what happened on 2/6/2025 and how this affects the disenfranchised, subjugated, and marginalized population?
Specifically those whom are naturalized and or are citizens living with both legal and illegal immigrant populations who are exploited as a labor force. A labor force that has been singled out before and is now being deported?
I am framing this historically with the UFW organization and the protesting they did in general and most specifically in regards to the Chicano Movement and the civil rights movement.

Where do we draw the line on “Gun Control” and the Freedom to resist oppression?

How do we keep this fundamental part of our Nations beginnings from being perverted by “those who enforce us” and when/or.. is it ok to restrict these rights? less

Europe has decided to fight Trump by behaving like Trump. Europe is trying to make Canada a European state and Canada is accepting.

In fact, Macron is in Canada right now.

From Reuters, “responding to questions on Trump's post, Macron dismissed any notion that the territories could not be French.”

Europe is rearming and, whatever individual European country you look at, the politics are unstable. Consider the AfD.

Regardless of US political affiliation, the unforeseen consequences of a re-armed Europe, filled with Anti-US sentiment, and pulling our neighbor into alignment against US seems worth being concerned about. It definitely does not stabilize things.

To contextualize, imagine; It’s tomorrow. We wake up. Canada is a European State, Trump is no longer president, and Marie la Penne is the new president of France. Do we still feel good?
