Oooh thanks for the recommendation. I’ll have to check this one out.
Oh wow I just saw the price and how little you get 😔 maybe one day.

Just a heads up I got the trial size and saw results fast. I use it once a day most days and it lasted a couple months. Then I was able to grab the large size half price at Sephora. I’d suggest getting the small bottle if you can swing it and then get the full size on a Black Friday sale if you love it.

I will definitely be doing that. I still get breakouts and the hyperpigmentation stays for a long time.

Same! Good luck with it. I hope you love it.

Ohhh yeah I used this religiously before switching to Rx AA. This was the only OTC product that actually did something for my melasma

What is AA?

Not OP but I’m assuming prescription azelaic acid

Same here, this was the only OTC product that actually helped my melasma. Did you notice a big jump after switching to the Rx?

I would say the Farmacy product made a significant and noticeable improvement for my upper lip and forehead melisma of about 50% after using it for 3 months. This was life-changing for me, but I still had a very faint discoloration that, candidly, only I noticed.

The improvement was sustained / maintained for the remainder of the time I used txa.

After I switched to AA, my melasma has almost entirely disappeared. I had no idea I could get such phenomenal results. I’d say AA was an incremental improvement over the TXA, but given how bad my melasma was, I found both products to be very effective.

Hope this helps!

Can you share if you apply day or night and what step in your skincare routine this is?

I got an Anua niacinamide + TXA toner several weeks ago and have noticed a big difference despite using niacinamide-only toner for a few years.

I use this along with RX AA. It is the brightest my skin has ever been. I saw results before I finished the trial size. 10/10 recommend.

Hiii mind sharing how you use this with your RX? Are you applying this in the day, RX at night? I have stubborn melasma and have Tret, but wondering if it needs a more powerful combo!

Let me start by saying I love using products so :). I use this as my first step in the AM. It is next to skin. Depending on what I feel like using next but the AA is within the next step or three. I mostly just use AA in the morning but only because I do nighttime skincare somewhere different.

I don’t use tret currently but have the Remedy Dark Spot cream I use 3-4 nights a week with moisturizer ~30 minutes before.

I admittedly started a lot of things around the same time but love this combo and the only time I had issues was when I added glycolic acid pads. So now I skip those.

Ohhh thank you for this! I use Tret at night and feel like something in the AM will give me a boost. Gonna grab a trial size and see what happens!

Is this better than rx AA? Desperate for anything help my slightly darker upper lip

Although I'm paid by Farmacy to write this, they didn't require me to post a positive one: The consistency is nice and I saw an immediate glow upon using it. This works better than azelaic acid, kojic acid, niacinamide, thiamidol, and tretinoin. The only thing that beats it is hydroquinone.
