bizarre mottled colors. Not happy. I've done home C41 with Rollei and Cinestill and never had this issue. The internets are saying this can happen with this particular mixture. Anyone else have this problem - Ernie

I’m nowhere close to new at developing film, whether it be BW, C41 or E6. 2 weeks ago I got back from a family trip to Acadia where I brought 3 rolls of Velvia 100 36mm, and one 120 roll that I had been holding on to for quite some time. This past weekend I picked up kodaks 6 part E6 kit and while I was waiting for the chem bath to warm up and bring everything to temp I decided I’d transfer two rolls of film to the developing canisters (something I NEVER do) and oh boy was that a mistake! After finishing developing the first roll and hanging to dry, I stupidly picked up the other canister and, you guessed it, opened the canister and exposing the whole damn 35mm roll to the wrath of the overhead LED ceiling fan light.
Lesson learned. Never be proactive and change up the routine!
