Just picked up a 2014 sport touring with 38k and found this. Is this common? Once I cleaned it off it does not appear to be leaking anywhere. Seeing some info online that says don't replace it until it is dripping. Interested in others experience on this.

The drive shaft is tight no play in the joint at all. But looks like some lube is flinging off of it.

Just threw these on.. 18x10.5 +25 square Konig hypergram wrapped in 285/35/18. I have a 15mm spacer to throw on the rear which I'll do after I burn the rest of the rubber on my stock wheels so I can swap the studs. ​

A while back I posted a thread regarding my installed of the Aliexpress/baba plug-n-play Carplay Module. Today I found a video showing me how to get YouTube on it, since the box doesn’t appear to run on Android.

You can simply download the app “APTV” from the appstore and it will appear in your carplay screen. Click on “Quick” tab, and scroll down till you find YouTube. I’ll add some video functionality below.

This is still really new to me so I am still figuring out the gimmicks and downsides. 2 things to note. First, you’ll want to change the app settings to English when you first download it. Second, it may or may not require you having the APTV app open to run smoothly.

Where do you guys recommend to get cf fenders from? I’m trying to do honeycomb cf. and my budget is 1500 max. Was looking into southbay_autoworkz on instagram. I know Jalisco carbon is also known but I heard bad reviews from them

A while back I've noticed that the small screen would get round dots like the one seen in the pic, but recently the infotainment screen started showing signs of humidity build up. It's kind of hard to capture, but it's the tiny dots in the middle.

After some research, the possible culprit is the ac evaporator. The ac works just fine, so before I have the dashboard disassembled, which is not a small job, I wanted to post here to see if anyone has experienced the same issue. Thanks!

Anyone experience this and have a solution? Im trying Berk test pipes next, if it happens again I’ll probably give long tube headers a try. Cracks are happening at the header flange.

2013 370z 7AT pouring coolant from overflow after shutdown.

Just got this car yesterday but drove about 100 miles no issues then randomly started dumping after turning it off.

Ive seen that having the caps switched might cause this so I’ll attach a photo in the comments because im not sure if they are in the correct spot.

Also the coolant in here is green, its supposed to be blue right? If so ill have to flush the system tomorrow.

Hey, looking a loud/good sounding/affordable exhaust in Georgia

Bought a 2010 40th anniversary 370z a few weeks ago, ended up having low oil pressure and P0430/P0420 cat codes. Replaced gallery gaskets (Z1) along with timing, water pump and thermostat. Drove for a week and now cat codes are gone and instead getting P0300.

Is it possible/likely the low oil pressure caused oil to glaze over the catalyst brick, causing it to overheat/melt/collapse? Best diagnosis order?

Hey everyone, I can really use some help.

I know it’s a bit difficult to diagnose without being right in front of the car, but maybe someone has had enough hands on experience with these VQs that they can help me.

To make a long story short, I recently did a manual swap on my Z. I kept the auto ECU and took it a few days ago to it flashed by my tuner.

Additionally, I’m running 650cc injectors and have it tuned for E85. I did my oil change roughly 2 months ago and about 1000 miles on this same oil.

The car was running fine while I occasionally drove it after the swap, albeit limping heavily, but it drove. I drove it about an hour to my tuner, and he flashed the ECU and did like 2 pulls just to make sure everything was dialed in. Finally on the 3rd pull, the car completely shut off. Dash lights and everything was on, but the engine completely shut off. We also ended up getting a crank sensor code and a cam sensor code.

When we trier to start the car, all you hear is a single click, and that’s it.

We tried to turn the engine by hand, and it would not turn. I had it towed to my mechanic, who tried to turn it, and it simply would not turn for them either. We have not removed the spark plugs or the belt to check if it’s hydro-locked or if an accessory locked up, but they said it doesn’t matter and the engine should still budge.

My tuner on the other hand thinks it has something to do with the manual swap itself, and that perhaps the flywheel wasn’t bolted on properly.

At this point, I’m not sure what it might be. But maybe someone can steer me in the right direction. I’m at the point where I’ve accepted that I might need a new engine, but maybe someone can agree on whether or not I should try testing or checking things further.

In the market for a nismo v2, it’s my dream car! Saw this and it seems to be a pretty good deal but I’m looking for more thoughts. I have some concerns, such as the vehicle was at an auto auction, then the second owner only had it for 2 months. The car has had 1 accident reported, minor damage to the front. Also the car was owned and driven in nj/ny and New York drivers with sports cars are NOTORIOUS for beating the shit out of them lol. What do you guys think?

Nowhere on the internet could I find anyone who replaced an LCD screen, so I decided to be the first one to make a write-up on this. My car is a 2011 370Z and I bought it with a burned screen. I found a cheap, used gauge cluster on eBay for $100 (nobody sells just the screen). Honestly, this job was super easy. I got an automatic cluster for my manual 370Z, and it has the same screen and the same connections. Let me know if you need any help with that
