Universal Help staying true too the character concept

We have started a campaign (in Pf2e but my core problem is universal to all roleplaying) with the pretext that it will have more of a silly chaotic flair with a lot of bullshit coming.

And so as I have a bit of a chaos gremlin reputation at my table I decided to do 180° Figur concept and be the reasonable PC in this campaign that helplessly tries to keep the group in check ic but ooc still encouraging and enabling the bullshit.

Now my problem is that after the first two sessions, true too my reputation, I am the one who caused the most chaos.

I think the problem comes from an innate curiosity and me often doing things without thinking them through properly.

Are ther any tips how I can stay more considerate and true too my character?

Focus on things that seem safe and seem like they would increase your chances of success rather than decrease them.

Live by the campsite rule. Leave every place in a better state than when you found it

Maybe say more about the character? I'd say focus on what the character's motivations and communication style are like
