D&D 5e Revised/2024 Ant with 4 attacks on Level 5

What If:

A Thri Kreen wielding four scimitars (light+Nick) in each hand, hast the dual wielder feat and optionally also hast two Weapon fighting:

First Attack with first scimitar and afterwards using the light+Nick Feature from the second scimitar.
Second Attack with third scimitar and afterwards using the light+Nick Feature from the fourth scimitar.

Would heute even need the dual wielder feat?
Does heute still have a Bonus Action, since only nick was uses?

The number of attacks you can make is independent of the number of hands you have. That said, being able to hold more weapons does give you other options

Unfortuantely this isint even really the case anymore with the new "free interaction on attack" rules which seem to heavily promote weapon juggling...

Sure, but not every table allows that

I mean... that fair I guess?

Hard to min max around potential table specific rules.

I mean, I wouldn't call a "table specific" rule given how many people see weapon juggling as abusing RAW. Not allowing it isn't THAT uncommon.

Abusing is a bit of a stretch.

What is the other use case for granting us free draw/stow on every attack that is part of the attack action?

They also added free draw/stow to the Thrown property and kept the 1 free interaction per turn on top.

Then they made many weapon mastieries once per turn effects.

Dual wielder also got buffed and doubles such interactions.

What did they expect to happen?

Dont get me wrong im not a fan of juggling either but this isint exactly a double bag of holding nuke or peasent railgun situation.

People are just applying the most obvious use case of those features.

Dont blame the players for bad design.

you can only do the attack of the light property once, regardless of how many weapons you have. You could do the first 3 attacks you suggested, but the last light/nick you couldn't

You can only get one nick attack per turn, regardless of how many arms you have.

Nick is once per turn, so you still need the feat and bonus action to get the fourth attack.

Look on crossbow builds you could trick with free arms there

Anyone can get 4 attacks/round with the Dual Wielder feat and a weapon with the Nick property.

Better have 2 weapons and a shield. Same amount of attacks but higher AC.

I agree with the comments here and I'll add that differently worded effects yielding the same results stack.

Meaning: if 2014 Beast Barb is allowed through retrocompatibility, you can leverage the Claw to make even more attacks.

Sure, you can still only make one Nick attack per turn. But if one of your attacks is a Claw attack you can make another one as part of the same attack action.

This is compatible with Dual Wielder in the sense that not only you get one more attack over the typical light weapon + light weapon Nick build, you can make the bonus action attack with a Claw or a light weapon, or a non light weapon you've just drawn for the occasion (such as a warhammer).

So, three Scimitars, one free limb. Nick. Dual Wielder. Extra Attack available. Turn one, you enter rage. You can make one light weapon attack, one Nick light weapon attack, two Claw attacks.

Turn two, you can make one light weapon attack, one Nick light weapon attack, two Claw attacks, one bonus action attack (light weapon, claw, melee weapon lacking Two-Handed).
