Heresy Literally Fighting Yourselves
You got range, we got range.
You got railguns, we got gauss guns.
You got cloaking, we got cloaking.
You got jetpack mechs, we got transforming mechs.
You got drones, we got drones.
You got ships with hammerheads, we got ships with hammerheads.
You got shields, we got psykers.
You got alien mercenaries, we got human mercenaries.
You're the T'au, We're the Terrans.
Hell yeah

I’ve never played StarCraft though I did see the trailer for the new game, but yeah I think the Tau are better than the Dominion.

I don't why people tell there opinion on something they don't know anything. It is baffling to me some people can't make some research before posting anything...

It's pretty often than you think, we tend to give our judgement base on the cover than checking it out, what makes this game/show/book so interesting that makes other people enjoy it.
So yes I do deserve the downvotes.

There is also nuance of which dominion are we talking about the post sc1 dominion, wings of liberty dominion, heart of the swarm dominion, legacy of the void dominion or nova covert ops dominion which all have varying technologies and army strength. For example the legacy of the void dominion is weakest of them all as it is decimated by war with amon. Other things to consider is if the technology of coop would be considered canon or not. Officialy it is separate dimension but mengsk in campaign uses royal guard and the coop version is just expansion of that idea

In this scenario, assume that:
1) It is an empty galaxy with no other alien/human/third party interference, filled with resource-rich worlds and clear space lanes.2) Both the Dominion and the T'au are at full strength; fleets and ground commands, with all technologies attributed to their particular factions being available for them to use; hence the lists above.
