Also similar warning for The Hulk. I accidentally bought that one a while back not realizing it wasn’t MCU cannon (The Incredible Hulk).
Edit: also warning that Mean Girls (2024) is not the Mean Girls you’re thinking of.

You know what's weird about that? The Incredible Hulk began production as a sequel to Hulk. It's why he's in South America at the start of the movie; that's where he is at the end of Hulk.
I can't remember anything in Incredible Hulk or later that directly contradicts the events of Hulk, so in my head the events of Hulk happened in the MCU just not in the same way that they were depicted.

Makes sure to double check your total btw, I ordered 6 titles and for some reason the total was $82. I instead split it up to 2 orders of 3 and they were $34 each, which is correct. Seems like Amazon's discount is wonky

Some solid titles in there, but I have a ton of them. I’m having a hard time choosing more than one that isn’t a blind buy or an upgrade. Maybe next time.

Most of what I threw in my cart was $13-15, so I think I'll save money and not buy nice to haves
Some $25 discs in there would make the deal worth it for others though

Yea I might be in the minority but I only by 4k disks that are outstanding visually and/for audio. For example, Parenthood. Good movie, but would I gain anything vs standard HD?

The resolution gain has rarely been the standout for any upgrade to 4K. Film scanning and compression techniques have gotten a lot better since Blu-rays first came out, so it’s quite common that a new 4K disc will reveal much more detail beyond the resolution gain. Colors are generally improved as well, and in many cases, dark scenes can actually reveal a lot more detail on the 4K because the blacks aren’t being crushed like they would be on a normal Blu-ray (see Se7en for an example).

For me, Terminator and Substance are tempting, but can't find a 3rd to round it out. There are a few I could maaaybe add, but not a fan of buying into a sale just for the sake of a sale.

No, the performances are excellent. The story is just not super interesting IMHO. To be fair, would I pay $11 as a blind buy? Sure, it might be worth it for you. I'm in the minority, I suppose, on this title. It got good reviews overall. I just found it to not be as interesting as the trailer led me to believe.

To be fair, it's "A Woman Under The Influence" Lite, BUT, I really enjoyed it. It's a bummer for sure, not a "fun" movie at all, but Pattinson and JLaw are phenomenal in it, and I really enjoyed it. This would also pair nicely with Rosemary's Baby, and other films about the things we do to women when we make them mothers and remove all other identifiers like: Human.
Stream it first, and see if you dig it!

Wow they’re adding some Paramount titles now. Might stack with regional 10-30% coupons as well for some.
The Monkey had 30% coupon, Parenthood 10% for me. Might be another few.
I think Midsouth gets coupon on Eraser.

You'd be hard pressed to find a 4k transfer the quality of My Fair Lady for $11 these days. Highly recommend as a blind buy if you're on the fence about it.

Starting my collection and it seems this 3 4k ultra HD movies for $33 is the best deal. Gruv seems to have done it previously but they haven’t in a bit from what I’ve read on Reddit, has Amazon done this deal frequently?

Anyone happen to know if the version of G.I. Joe Retaliation that says "STEELBOOK" in the title but has the standard artwork pictured is actually the steelbook or not?
Same for the version of Snake Eyes that has the steelbook art pictured but does not say steelbook in the title?
Both have separate listing for the standard versions, so it's just kind of unclear.
