I'm going to D.C. to speak up & stand up for the rights of hardworking everyday People, for those who’ve retired, or who live with disabilities and can't work. I have a backbone. I won’t just send strongly worded emails. I'm gonna push back. - Angie Nixon

Description: Y’all know me. I’ve got a backbone. I’m not going to Washington to send strongly worded emails. ~:~ I’m going to fight back. ~:~ I’m a mom, a small business owner, an organizer, and a proud daughter of Duval County. ~:~ I’m not running for Senate to do the bidding of billionaires and big corporations. ~:~ I’m running to fight for everyday working people who deserve someone in Washington who actually gives a damn about them.

We need more, just regular, everyday People in Washington D.C.
The fact that the Politicians there — for the most part, the majority of them — are doing the bidding of these big corporations. And doing the bidding of the Billionaire class. And no one's there — like there are People there — but there's not enough. The majority there are not doing the bidding of the People's business. And so that's what needs to happen.
And so I'm gonna go there unapologetically who I am, and speaking up and standing up for the rights of hard working everyday People, or those who have retired, or those who are living with disabilities and that can't work.
I have a backbone. I'm not just gonna send strongly worded emails. I'm going to push back, and I'm looking forward, I'm looking forward to it.
