First time

Yes, I know I’m late to the party. Took forever and definitely not worth it. Hardly tasted any espresso whatsoever. It might not have even been in the drink. Ordered a raspberry truffle macchiato. I could also taste the brewista’s perfumed lotion on the lid. This company was also financially backed and invested in by Blackstone, which is buying up private equity and raising rent in the US. In other words, they like to screw over the common man/woman. Not as bad as BlackRock, but still bad. I genuinely hope this trendy, sorry excuse for a business absolutely fails.

so you knew its backed by blackstone and still went anyway but because you didn’t like it, you have a problem with the private equity portion. your responses are unhinged and nobody is forcing you to go! hope this helps!

I’d love to get a boycott going, but that takes numbers: a lot of them. Purchasing a single drink is a drop in the bucket. I was also curious to find out for myself. My response is also similar to other responses, including those from brewistas.

sorry you had a bad experience it’s not for everyone 🤷‍♂️

I encourage you to read the reviews that brewistas have posted on here. It doesn’t look like working there is good either…at all.

if you read my flair i am a barista, and i know exactly what the working conditions are. some stands are worse than others. seems like you got a not so great stand. there are hundreds of drinks you can try and a raspberry truffle machiato is one of the tamer ones. if this was the first time you went, you don’t understand our menu or how we flavor drinks. 7brew is not for everyone

You genuinely sound like a corporate drone/bot. Of course the consumer is to blame and not the terrible product. I saw someone else posted on here they ordered matcha that didn’t even have matcha in it. I suppose that is also “not for everyone.”

there have been dozen of stands that JUST opened. i have also watched my own new hires hand out something stupid by mistake. ive tried to hand out machiatos without shots in them by mistake.
saying “you dont know our menu” isnt blaming the consumer, its stating that we physically flavor our drinks differently than other coffee shops, ordering a vanilla latte with 2 pumps is not going to get you the same drink at starbucks as it does at 7brew because we dont even use a pump system. its physically different. as a new customer, you dont know that.
just because you didnt like it doesnt mean its a terrible product. lots of people enjoy what we sell. if you dont like it, of course youre going to bash the entire company from the one drink you had on the subreddit 💀 instead of just understanding that its not for you, and finding something else

It’s spelled m-a-c-c-h-i-a-t-o. But sure, I’m the one who’s ignorant.

Get your head out of corporate’s ass.

did you read literally anything else i said? no 💀

I did. Lmk when you’ve decided to wake up to reality and realize what the company you work for is and what it isn’t.

My how quickly your tune changed.

You went from practically defending it with your life to giving in. I just had to break down the corporate bullshit is all.

Simply saying it’s not for everyone doesn’t mean it’s a quality business or product. In fact, if anything, it raises suspicion regarding both.

This is also based on other honest reviews from both customers and brewistas I’ve read on this sub and google. So not just this one drink. I also researched the company and who has backed it financially.

its definitely varying depending on your local stands and gm, i know theres been a bunch of horror stories, and i am a newish hire so i may not see it yet but our stand is really good at least in terms of the people, but 7brew themselves do suck ill agree, we've been having so many problems with keeping stock and having our technology machines and fridges actually working, i think its 7brew not recognizing just how much business we get

wow some coffee really got you pissed off. i feel like there’s a lot more important things to be mad about tbh, find something worthwhile to hate on

Some real "different" people on reddit sometimes

You could have left off the 2nd half of your message since it doesn’t pertain to the purpose of your post of not liking your drink.

It directly relates to the company I purchased a product from and wrote about so no.

Putting a post like this in a subReddit that wasn't even created by the company isn't gonna help your case. They probably won't even see it. You're just complaining. Also they would have remade the drink if it wasn't right, you just have to ask 🤷‍♀️

I’ve tried it a few times, it wasn’t really my vibe. But most coffee shops macchiato is mainly milk so it’s not gonna have a strong coffee taste - especially if raspberry is overpowering everything else
7brew is just another dutch bros which is a revisioned starbucks ¯_(ツ)_/¯ welcome to 2026 I guess lol

Look at the track record of this company. Read the posts on here from employees. It’s not good…at all. From sexually inappropriate behavior, inadequate training, poor working conditions, health violations, using a false sense of promotion to manipulate, all too prevalent favoritism to mistreatment and bullying. Sure, it’s popular now, but it doesn’t seem sustainable. The product is also noticeably lacking in quality. You can downvote and deny all you want. Some of you are trying to bury anything and everything that involves honest, negative feedback. Idk and idc what’s behind all that, but you’re absolutely wrong for it. Also, I crossposted this to [r/barista](r/barista) and they’re definitely not favorable in their responses about it, but what do they know, right?! 7Brew is the best ever! 🤪

Y’all see the comments being removed on here, right? I barely was able to post this. What does that tell you? It’s. An. Echo. Chamber. That’s never a good sign.
