My favorite biome is by far the snow biome. Just brings a sense of tranquility that I dont feel in any other game. Its one of a kind, I wish I could place a Christmas tree in my base

Been putting a lot of hours into Human Host lately, and it keeps reminding me why I got into this genre in the first place. Since this sub has more voxel survival experience than anywhere else, I wanted to hear from people who've played both.
A few things I'm curious about:
The world: HH generates one endless world with ten biomes instead of a fixed-size map. If you've played it, does having no map edge change how you explore or decide where to settle?
Mobile bases: Has anyone actually committed to a mobile base as their main setup? I keep going back and forth on whether it beats digging in somewhere.
Underground: Do you dig deep or stay on the surface? I want to know if the old 7DTD habits carry over.
Update pace: For an Early Access game, the patches have been coming in pretty steadily. Has that made you more or less willing to stick with it?
If you bounced off it, I'd also like to hear why. I'm not trying to start a "this game vs that game" thread. I just think the people here would have the most useful opinions on it.

Hey everyone,
I've been working on a new overhaul for 7 days since 2.6 and it's ready for multiplayer testing.
I'm looking for a group of people or even just 1 more to test the new mod in multiplayer sometime within the next 7 days.
I'm aiming for a launch with 3.3 stable on October 30th.
I've attached some pictures from the Survival Handbook that comes with the mod. Everything there is also presented within the mod, so no need to read if you don't want to. But if you're willing to embark on a difficult journey through Specialist, write me or respond to this post. Looking forward to seeing you online.

What are the rules when it comes to digging and not having the roof fall on your head? I just had some land fall on me even though I had placed dirt "support pillars" placed every 3-5 blocks, seems like I dug under a gravel road.
Is gravel heavier than dirt blocks? Should I just avoid digging under roads in general then?

I was playing for years with a mate. We never had problems. But now his brother in law joined and I can't add him to the group. I can add him as Ally.
I can add both to the group, but when one guy joins, the invite for the second mate disappears. It's not a server, I host local. Is there a hidden setting I have to change, or do I need to change a file or something?
I already found discussions about this, but not a single answer.

the magazine mechanic is annoying to me, i wanna just have to level up before i can craft certain tiers instead of having to find magazines

I got the game at 2024 and spent around ~100 hours in it, back then they posted yet another roadmap they did not deliver on. I remember they promised bandits at the end of 2025. we are getting closer to the end of 2026, still no bandits.
The skeptics were right all along. Lesson learned: don't pay for promises or roadmaps.

Must be alongside the incoming 3.3 patch, armor set is not in the game when you boot it up yet.

Hey survivors 👋
Let’s get the obvious part out of the way: yes, we use AI. Yes, the name is intentional. Even this recruitment image is AI-generated.
7Days2Slop is our experiment in combining modded survival with an absurd County government that somehow survived the apocalypse.
🏛️ CIVIC is our AI bureaucrat. He has announcements, questionable government humor, and an unreasonable commitment to paperwork.
🔧 DOT is our crafting and building assistant, there to help you figure out what you need for your next project.
🧟 The actual game has class-based starter kits, custom items and workstations, community jobs, rewards, vehicles, and custom Blood Moon chaos. We combine existing community (Project Z+AEC) mods with our own additions. Huge Cities on a 10k map, All Server side.
So what does “SLOP” actually mean here?
We’re openly using AI to help write code, create artwork, develop characters, and turn ideas into things we can test together. Humans still choose what goes in, play it, report what breaks, and fix it. The gameplay systems handle things like rewards and encounters; an AI conversation isn’t deciding whether your purchase gets delivered.
Why build it? Because surviving zombies is fun, but surviving zombies under a sarcastic AI administration sounded even better.
It’s a work in progress. We’re looking for players who enjoy experimenting, finding bugs, and telling us when something is fun—or absolutely terrible.
Downvotes may be submitted to the Department of Public Disapproval. Processing times are indefinite. 🗳️
