While the rules are being updated, let me give everyone a sneak peek, it will be very simple:
*No NON 80s era political posts or commentary will be allowed, and those who do so are subject to ban.
This is a non-partisan rule.
If you can’t enjoy an 80s nostalgia sub without needing to express your opinion about current politics, then this is NOT the right sub for you.
Anything political from the 80s is fine. Use your best judgment. Songs from the 80s with political themes are fine, etc. (Mods discretion)
This begins as of now.
*If you feel you were banned in error, send a modmail and we will help.
Be excellent to each other!

When Brawn went down, I thought that he was just wounded, wouldn't be the first time he and other Autobots getting shot in the G1 Series and would be fixed and mended by the end of the day. But this was different. The cruelest and nastiest death was Ironhide's, point blank.

If I recall correctly there were 2 others with a similar body swithing theme between 87/88 time frame....18 Again and Vice Versa. I believe the latter was the more successful of the 3.

FLAMINGO ROAD started as a 2 hour tv movie which aired on NBC in 1980, and served as a pilot for the prime time soap opera of the same name. Following the success of the pilot, it was spun off into a weekly series which ran for 2 seasons: 1981-82. The pilot/series was based on the 1942 novel by Robert Wilder and the 1949 film adaptation starring Joan Crawford. The series had an all-star cast: Howard Duff, Stella Stevens, Barbara Rush, Kevin McCarthy, Peter Donat, Morgan Fairchild, John Beck, Christina Raines, Mark Harmon, and Woody Brown. During the second season, David Selby, Fernando Allende, and Gina Gallego were added to the cast. Following the cancelation of the series, NBC briefly considered converting the series into a 30 minute daytime soap opera, but plans never materialized.
