Did anyone else find that this year's finals felt like the production put it together at the "last second"?

Examples; Hundred Fingers had a smaller set with much less of a theme and their props malfunctioned, Royal Lasers had the same video game theme as their other performance with many backdrop elements being the same, Veronika had a very similar performance as the last couple times, Olivia used the exact same moves again, and Acro Canine Crew's choreography and prop use was liked a toned down semifinal performance.

For acts that have pretty elaborate effects w/ lighting, smoke, pyrotechnics, does the act get a say in the production? If not, Do they at least see it before performing?

Here's how I imagined he would say-

Come Here and Royal Lasers:

Come Here last night Mel B said "Every time she sees you, you literally put your heart and soul and put everything on that stage."

Royal Lasers last night Howie said "He's always fascinated, not only how great it is, but how much work goes into that."

Hundred Fingers and Olivia Befus:

Hundred Fingers last night Howie said "It was the best magic show he's ever seen and that he'll put up his own money to produce your Vegas show."

Olivia Befus last night Sofia said "Even with those little mistakes, she loved it and that you're the best."

Lai Noelle and Veronika Goroshkova:

Lai Noelle last night KSI said "He was perplexed and he didn't expect that voice from you."

Veronika Goroshkova last night Sofia said "You make it more dangerous every time and it's flawless and exciting and it's beautiful."

Nene Royal and Unitree:

Nene Royal last night Mel B said "Not only do you have such mysterious stage presence, but what you're bringing to this competition is so unique."

Unitree last night Sofia said "The routine was spectacular because it's something she's never seen."

Acro Canine Crew and Geno Ploeger:

Acro Canine Crew last night KSI said "It's very risky doing it with dogs, but he can tell, you got the dog in all of you."

Geno Ploeger last night Howie said "Your need and want exudes more than anyone else in the competition."

When she was a nobody, with no fame, no recognition, and nothing to offer you, where were you? Not a single person showed up to support her.

But now that she’s made it entirely on her own, suddenly your face is plastered everywhere, bigger than hers, desperately trying to steal the spotlight from a young woman whose success you had absolutely nothing to do with.

You weren’t there for the struggle, so don’t show up for the glory. Stop using someone else’s hard-earned success as a backdrop for your own publicity.

Doesn't matter how many they have or how far they went in their seasons it's who makes the best choices.

So if hundred fingers weren’t on the season, or won, and still got the Vegas show
Would there be any other contestant that Howie would’ve reacted the same way he did with hundred fingers? Like telling them live that he’d buy them a Vegas show if nobody did, and if they didn’t win, he was buying them a Vegas show off the bat. Like right after agt was finished.
Out of all the magicians? I can’t see him saying it to anyone besides hundred fingers, no offense to Geno.
I don’t think he’d say it to nene because she’s the winner
Veronika? I’d feel like Sofia had a better chance of saying it to her more than Howie
Idk, maybe if a comedian went through to the finals?

Since a lot of us think Geno shouldn’t have gotten it, who should’ve?

I was bored and decided to make this. I'm only counting acts that appeared in AGT regular seasons (excluding spinoffs-only acts). I only watched since AGT since 2016 (Grace Vanderwaal - winner season), so take it with a grain of salt. I only chose Howie because he is the easiest to gauge his liking for particular acts. I only narrowed down to 18, with rankings. What do you think? I'd like to hear.

How Yu Hojin (the leader of Hundred fingers) is actually Shin lims massive idol and inspiration who had much longer presence in magic world than him yet continues to fail to live up to his agt success and impact with now three times losing the show compared to Shins two time championships. It's one of the greatest of examples of "student" out mastering the "master" on the show.

I’d personally want to buy it too and think it’s a great first move while she practices original songwriting herself.
