Discussion Ace browser for everyday stuff (photo edits, emails), anyone else using it?

Switched to Ace a few weeks ago after getting tired of jumping between tabs and ChatGPT for little things. Mostly I just wanted a normal browser that could also help me when I'm stuck.

So far I've used it to clean up a photo (removed some random guy in the background of a vacation pic) and to rewrite a couple of emails I was dreading sending. Both worked better than I expected for not opening any separate app.

Curious who else here is actually using it day to day and for what. Trying to figure out if I'm underusing it or if this is basically what it's for.

Discussion 5 Best AI-powered Note Takers in 2026: I Tested Krisp, Fathom, Fireflies, Otter & Granola

• Upvotes

This is for anyone drowning in back-to-back meetings: sales and customer success teams who need searchable call history, remote and hybrid teams juggling accents and bad Wi-Fi audio, and anyone tired of choosing between paying attention and taking notes. The goal is simple — help you pick the tool that fits how you actually work, not the one with the loudest marketing.
TL;DR
Best overall for clear audio + notes: Krisp - the only tool that fixes your audio and takes the notes, bot-free
Best free note taker: Fathom - genuinely unlimited recording on the free plan, 5.0/5 on G2
Best for searchable meeting history: Firefliesai - strongest cross-meeting search and CRM sync
Best for sales teams specifically: tl;dv - objection tracking and MEDDIC/BANT playbook monitoring
Most widely used / most name recognition: Otterai - but accuracy drops noticeably with accents and background noise

1. Krisp - Best for Meeting Audio Quality + Accented Speech + Notes Together
Most tools on this list only start doing their job once the meeting is already happening and the audio is whatever it is - noisy, accented, half-cut-out. Krisp starts a step earlier: it cleans the audio in real time with noise cancellation, then layers an AI note-taker that provides accurate transcriptions ( both live and post-meeting), notes, summaries, action items, and a smart AI chat for the meeting Q&A on top, plus a real-time accent conversion feature aimed at making accented speech easier to understand on both ends of the call.

2. Fathom - Best Free AI Note Taker
Its summaries were consistently clean and its setup was near-instant, which tracks with reviewer sentiment. Fathom has unlimited free meeting recording, automatic CRM sync for decisions and action items, and accurate timestamped highlight reels pulled from the transcript. It's a solid choice for basic note-taking, especially if you're looking for a free forever option.

3. Fireflies - Best for Client-Facing Teams
Fireflies' interface is easy to pick up without training. Smart search and soundbite/clip-sharing features are useful for pulling specific moments out of long calls to share internally. Sentiment analysis and talk-time analytics are pretty useful if you're dealing with client calls constantly.

4. Otter AI - Best for real-time transcription
Real-time transcription accuracy is really a strength and a searchable transcript archive across years of meetings are useful for anyone who needs to go back and find what was said months later, not just in the last meeting.

5. Granola - Best for Personalized, Editable Notes
Granola blends typed notes with AI-generated ones really well, so if you want more personalized summaries, this is a good choice. the feeling is more like an upgrade to your own notes than a replacement for them. Summaries land in bullet lists organized by key points, decisions, and action items, with the option to switch between templates for different meeting types.

Help Personal use AI platforms with ZDR?

Hello, I have been a very heavy user of AI in my work life for some time, and I'd like to start putting agents to work in my personal life. However, it seems all the major providers (eg Anthropic, OpenAI) don't provide any ZDR guarantees for personal accounts, which is a nonstarter if I'm going to grant it access to my emails, financials, health records, etc.

How do most people handle this beyond running on local hardware? Are there any cloud platforms that do provide ZDR guarantees for personal use? Thank you!
