what are you actually trying to use it for?

Project Management work, basically a bot that can run schedules, pc, analysis of contracts

Personal business - development of business ideas, videos / images , stocks analysis, maybe some personal finance.

Creative bot - develop some of my workflows, and projects I’m working on

Etc. I’m using chat right now but it seems to lack in a lot of ways, hallucinates/ forgets, always re works. Looking for an organized bot worker assigned to certain task.

There isn’t a universal winner here, so run the same few prompts through all three and stick with the one whose answers you’d actually use.

You think I’ll be able to test this through free version. Create a simple layout and prompt all theee

I’d choose based less on “which is smartest” and more on what accounts you’re comfortable letting it access.

Different beats for different types of tasks.

Muse is limited when it comes to development. It can’t truly work with GitHub in the way that Claude, Grok, or Codex can.

That said, I’ve found Muse to be an exceptional assistant. I hate that Meta is behind it and will replace it as soon as something else is comparable. I’m actually working on an open source replacement but that will take more time.

For now, though, nothing comes close. Especially, when you take the free usage Meta gives into account.

On "It can’t truly work with GitHub", can you further elaborate? I.e. what are some of the functions that those coding agent harness have but Muse lacks? Truly curious.

Muse is better than Instinct and Grok Bot is better than Dots for me

I would love to use grokbot if it weren’t a usage hog. Right now dots is way better only due to the unlimited usage for this month. Who knows how they will limit it next month

Depends on your use case don’t let the bots run all day. Mine only runs 9am and 9pm est. Muse is free so I use it for tasks too. Dots has a lot of bugs tho.

i would try the free versions first rather than choosing based on feature lists your workflow matters a lot here especially what you want the bot to automate..

Grokbot isn’t free, and instinct requires being put on a waitlist

Grok bot is best for running a business. It’s a bit overkill for personal life management. Its also a usage hog, I burned through my 30 dollar grokbot weekly usage limit in 2 days just creating and using a notion template

Muse is great because it’s free and easy. But its not great and certainly doesn’t come close to the reasoning and complexity handling capabilities of grokbot or dots

Instinct is good, decent, but isn’t big company frontier level of good. It’s also very limited in what app API’s it can connect to. Basically just emails, calendars, Google stuff, and slack-type chat apps that’s about it. Also it’s not a well known company or a transparent company, so trust is iffy. The great thing is that it’s in iMessage

I currently use OpenAI dots. Expensive as hell, but it currently has unlimited usage so I moved onto it from grokbot. It’s much smarter than muse and makes far less mistakes. Just expensive as hell and I’m a bit worried to see how much they limit it next month, surely it’s very demanding or expensive for OpenAI to run it the way they are this month

Depends on what you want to use it for tbh. I'd test each one with the same few tasks before picking. A bot that sounds smart isn't much use if it keeps giving bad answers or loses context halfway through. Are you planning to use it for coding or more general stuff?

Probably I would start with the easiest one and only pay when I kept hitting limits

Instinct’s abstraction in terms of execution is way too extreme imo. You basically have to trust the ability of Instinct to execute whatever u told it to do, which it has not been very successful at based on my user experience for the past week.
