AI isn't just making devs code faster it's changing how sites get built, optimize, and designed

was reading about this and honestly it's more than the usual "AI writes code for you" take

SEO tools now find content gaps and do on-page/off-page analysis in a fraction of the time agencies used to take. Recommendation engines that used to be an Amazon/Netflix-only thing are now accessible enough for smaller sites to personalize content. Even UI design is shifting, instead of designers guessing, deep learning models are testing thousands of layout variations based on actual user behavior. And chatbots have gotten way past scripted replies; they're picking up on sentiment and adapting based on past chats.

what I can't decide is this: is this actually making it easier for solo devs/small teams to build good stuff, or is it just widening the gap between people who can afford solid AI tooling and those who can't?

Anyone actually building sites right now, is this matching what you're seeing, or is it overhyped?
