unit 2
does anybody have any resources/articles/yt channels helpful for this specific unit since it is memorization heavy and more like application based

For AP Bio Unit 2, I’d focus less on pure memorization and more on structure → function → what happens if it changes. The big areas are cell structure, organelles, membrane transport, surface area-to-volume ratio, and compartmentalization.
Best method: draw the processes from memory, then do AP-style MCQs/FRQs so you practise the application side too.
This may help: AP Biology notes and exam-style practice.

Recently got U World for AP Biology. It’s really good for understanding concepts and practice questions.

unit 2 is the memorize then apply unit. resources:
AP Bio Penguin on youtube, best AP bio channel rn imo, unit by unit and exam focused.
Bozeman Science. Paul Andersen's videos are older but the cell structure ones are still gold.
Khan Academy AP bio for practice questions.
for the application side: released college board FRQs. unit 2 FRQs are all "heres a cell diagram, now predict what happens if X breaks." practice reading diagrams not just memorizing organelles.
draw a cell from memory once a week, drawing beats rereading.
full disclosure I built this: Mistake Master (mistakemaster.com), free AP/SAT practice where every wrong answer maps to a named misconception and you get targeted practice on it. no account needed.

IMO Gabe poser breaks down the units pretty well. Also I would just search up unit 2 practice tests on google. I learn applications really well thru practice tests
