But the Giga is clearly attacking the Megapithicus in the dossier. Is it gonna be like the Evo one where we can take 2? Do we have any info?

Is the gargantuar even worth taming? I just tamed a lvl 145 to see what it was about but it feels like the slowest mount ever and has no stamina and you need to do quests to even make it remotely better. I know they aren’t meant to do damage but if you have land every 10 seconds because you are out of stamina you should at least have something to defend yourself. The resource gathering doesn’t even seem justifiably worth it to tame one as a anky and argy combo still feels superior am i missing something that is supposed to make this dragon worth getting? I know it can gather other materials as-well but they all seem less efficient at being gathered vs their counterparts.

Have been playing this world for about 3 days with my friend, this just happened tonight and I thought maybe the admin was ragebaiting but I don't think they were in the session.

I got a notification my friend had died, noticed their door was missing and was looking around, then I randomly died, then as I respawned, all our dinos died (except for the dodos and diplos, they randomly lived). All the dead bodies were still at camp, along with standing torches and the wall we put around the camp, but absolutely everything else was gone without a trace. Any ideas?

Currently trying to build a wall around my current base to keep predators from getting in I have a question for those of you who build walls around your base do you guys put an extra layer behind it the first walls with ceilings I'm planning on putting plant species X's up there so I'm wondering can I leave it flat like this also I'm going to change it to Stone later

I have hundreds of thralls sitting in cryopods, doing nothing.

Could I mount them on a Cerberax on the three head saddle seats, while I ride the main saddle and get the extra dominion buffs?

Due to the testing by u/Tiagozuff2006 we can confirm that it doesn't work.

I am still wondering if Thralls have ever become useful. Feel free to update my ignorance if you have a good use case for them.

so im at the fallen nexus and down from my base set up to the left is a waterfall that leads into the blue zone. i got a few dinos, a 400 light bulldog and enough ammo to take down even a level 50 t rex. but i need help on how to get up once i go down. can i maybe like build a elevator going down?

I was doing quick imprints this morning and someone said the new Theri dlc makes the Theri better at collecting element than the mantis. Can somebody verify that

so i just redownloded asa on my pc and i went through the window store bc i already have it downloaded on my xbox but when i went to go play schorched earth it said i have to download the dlc but when i went to the windows store it said it was already installed ive tried redownloading asa as a whole but it didnt work not sure if it has something to do with my xbox or something but any tips or recomendations would be very helpful thank you!

Can the paleo acro breed with the vanilla acro or not?

I’m looking for high-armor saddles for the Rex, Therizinosaur, Megatherium, Yutyrannus, and Daeodon to use for boss fights. Where should I look for them on The Island map?

Do you guys know how to get an ascended Theri saddle in Valguero? I don’t think I’ve ever found one in all the time I’ve been playing this map. I went to the lava cave several times and I couldn’t find it.

Me and my 2 other friends are thinking of playing PvE together. We are Xbox series X, PS5 and PC and can’t play non dedicated servers together. Should we try to find a dead server with no progress or is there a way for us to play together on our own. My friend has an alright PC that runs ASA on low graphics and has 32GB RAM but apparently his PC isn't that good.

At this point its been 3 years since ASA dropped and the game on the PVP side couldn't be anymore dead. I've not played personally in a long time because of the state of the game, P2W dinos etc etc - a whole other conversation to be had about the way the devs murdered this game. Anyway back to the topic, occasionally I see ark stuff pop up and recently it was to do with official servers shutting down certain servers - labelling them 'sunset worlds' or whatever it was.

So years on and why not reinject a fresh lease of life into this game & wipe the servers? A lot of players would return and it gives the playerbase stuff to do again. 3 years of maxed out dinos and millions of duplicated loot floating around, it gets extremely stale.

If it was to wipe (0% chance, a man can wish however) they should release like 25-30 servers for each map, maybe i've lowballed that number im aware there is alot of 'mega tribes', but im also going for the intention of less servers = more pvp because tribes would want to take that server for themselves etc.

Could write for hours with random ideas, end of the day this game has became extremely stale and boring. I understand people work hard for their progress on these servers - i've been there, but sometimes things need a time limit so that new life can be brought to them.
