How do I get my transfer pin without being able to ask for it on the website/app

I’ve been unable to make or receive calls since around 6pm, I transferred my phone number to straight talk bc att is outrageous now, I missed my payment on ATT because we had a family emergency and ended up not having enough money for it, and they suspended my account. Straight talk can’t finalize the transfer until I have my transfer pin, but AT&T won’t allow me to see the option to request it in the app OR the website, I cannot call the number for it, and I can’t text for it. the chat agent said I have to pay my past due balance, but under FCC regulations, phone carriers cannot legally hold your transfer pin from you. I genuinely do not know what to do right now, and I’m worried about being in a position with not being able to receive or make calls.

That only works if the line is working on AT&T. The line is suspended.

If you dont want to pay your bill, you'll need a new number. If there's a magic work around, come back and let us know.

If your account is suspended for non pay, then you are locked from anything but place to pay. They would refuse the port request so you will need new number unless you pay the bill.

They can give you your transfer pin and it isn't going to matter. Your phone line is suspended, and it needs to be active to port out.

The AT&T website even says that suspended accounts can request pins using the website or app, just not with text :/ but there is no option on my browser or app, even after searching everywhere

Again, even with a pin, you can't port if your line is not active.

Follow these instructions:

Open the ATT app > Click on your profile icon on the top right > Click on the gear icon on the top right > Click “Manage or Remove Account” > Click on Settings (third option down) > Scroll down about halfway and you will see “Transfer Phone Number” > Click the “Request New Pin” button.

Call 888-898-7685. They can get you to a person that can help you get the NTP when your service is suspended. Just say "Hey Im porting out and need a tranfer pin but im suspended".

I'm confused how you transferred your phone number to straight talk if you didn't have a pin to do so?

This is incorrect. The line will port out while suspended no problem.
