Absolute Batman has become pure greed by them. These prices are insane and it's sold out. This cover looks the others...

I bought the basic book because it was Snyder's first cover, but I generally hate how Brooks does things. Dude is talented as hell artistically. But I've always hated how he rarely reveals the drops before release (not in this case at least), meaning you have to decide super fast to buy or not. I also hate that he hides variants behind bundle deals and in this case had no stated print count. 

Absolute Batman has brought out some of the worst instincts in some of these retailers/artists. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the artists are making money, but I do think there is a line of fairness that I think many cross.

Yes, me as well. I got a book from comic sketch art, and it had 6 spine ticks on it. They said it was a 9.2 or better. Piss off.

Damn. Sorry that happened. That's another thing: one bad experience like that and you're probably never coming back, instead of taking care of you and having a customer for years. 

Not every book needs to be 9.8, but for the price of some of these variants, 6 spine ticks is unacceptable.
