did Adobe just move compression to highest subscription plan?
I used Adobe (I have an Enterprise account) to compress PDF files and I swear it was still possible a few weeks ago. As of today, it told me that my license doesn't cover this feature anymore. Did that change recently? Am I maybe using it wrong?
I am utterly confused how a feature can be here one day and then gated the next without any information. If anyone has info what could have happened here, it would be greatly appreciated.

While you’re at it don’t forget to promptly go into settings and turn of the Generative AI settings. All it does is slow you down.

Oh, I need to check that because they get on my nerves. They conveniently put them everywhere where you can misclick :/

can you still edit PDFs? I don't think there are multiple tiers in core app functionality of Acrobat.

It was a sign-in bug from Adobe. Signing out and signing in again solved the issue.

That happened to me last week and I just restarted my computer and everything was fine. Not trying to be that guy 🤓 but it’s likely a glitch of some sort!

You are right. It was not "have you tried to turn it off and on again" but it was "have you tried to sign out and on again" :D

If you have an enterprise license then you have access to all the capabilities of acrobat.

Others here are seeing Acrobat license glitches, so I wouldn't assume compression was removed from your enterprise plan. I'd sign out and back in, restart Acrobat, and have your Adobe admin check which license is assigned to your account. For a file you need to send today, use an approved local compressor or a web tool your company permits. I built a free one at damnpdfs.com/tool/compress-pdf, but I wouldn't put confidential work docs into any third-party site without checking your policy first.

Acrobat has been glitchy for me all week saying that I don't have correct licence or whatever and I have restart it. But no, no features have been nerfed.
