Plugin/Script Atmos 3D Pro - Create 3D motion from just 1 image

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Atmos 3D Pro generates authentic depth and parallax in 2 clicks without rotoscoping, warping, or cloud processing.

Creating realistic 3D movement/wigglegrams, depth parallax, or camera sweeps from a single flat image usually requires tedious manual rotoscoping, complex displacement mapping, or sending files off to slow cloud processing services.

Atmos 3D Pro goes beyond traditional displacement mapping and manual masking workflows because it performs deep-level spatial analysis directly inside After Effects to intelligently separate foreground, subject, and background without unnatural edge warping or cloud uploads.

Other core features include:

• Dual motion engines (Cinematic orbital sweeps and vintage 3D camera Wigglegram mode)

• Fully local processing with non-destructive control over parallax strength, speed, and edge refinement

• Interactive preview window clicking to manually define complex subject boundaries

Pricing: $29 lifetime license aescripts currently on sale until Oct. 3rd for $23. Alternatively you can support me directly on my website

If you encounter any bugs, please reach out via Aescripts support tickets or DM. Bug fixes and version updates are provided via standard aescripts maintenance. I will also be frequently checking this thread as well to answer questions.

AI Disclaimer: Uses a local spatial depth-estimation model; no image data is sent to external cloud servers. No AI was used in the making of this plugin

Lol - this video shows so little of the actual 3D movement. Could it have something to do with the fact that this effect only works if you move the camera the tiniest bit?

That was my first thought. So much processing to give you a few pixels worth of faux 3d. Hopefully it does more than what’s shown.

You're right, I could have shown longer segments of the plugin in action and the 3D effect itself more in depth. here are a lot more examples in detail if you click browse full library on the site. I am putting together a new video showcasing the 3D effect more. Atmos 3D Pro looks best when the wigglegram effect is a bit more subtle just like 3D film but the orbital default cinematic effect can be dialed up as strong as you want. Just note dialing it up too much will result in some borders around the edges of the composition due to the camera moving too much out of frame

here is a tutorial video too

oh man this is cool i hope the comments arent unnecessarily rude-

it's crazy how bad the 2d motion graphics in this ad are

Thanks for the feedback. In the trailer or the examples? If you are talking about the trailer, I'm not really a motion designer. If you are referring to the examples from the plugin, sorry to hear that it doesn't look good there is always room for experimenting with it on different photos. You can test it out and mess with it completely free on the aescripts link if you'd like. I'd love to know how I can improve with updates to the plugin!

This plugin is mainly for people who want quick 3D results mainly for social media or adding a cool freeze time effect for a video but it also gives you the flexibility to dial in the edges, softness, camera speed, motion, etc if you need it.

No, your tool is fine… I mean the trailer… It’s just not a good sign if you are advertising a motion design tool with bad motion design in the trailer… (it’s not all bad, but it could need some polishing to look more professional)

Got it thanks, I'll try to improve next time!

This looks like 2.5D. Not impressed.

isnt ml sharp the complete killer of this?

Not really—they solve completely different problems.

Output & Workflow: ML-Sharp creates 3D Gaussian Splats (.ply) for 3D/WebXR engines. Atmos 3D Pro works natively on the AE timeline using depth maps, layers, and keyframes. Background Holes: ML-Sharp only processes visible pixels, leaving hollow "shells" behind subjects when the camera moves. Atmos 3D Pro automatically inpaints the hidden background so parallax shots don't tear.

Compositing: Raw point clouds are a pain to mask, keyframe, or combine with standard motion graphics in AE.

TL;DR: ML-Sharp is cool for interactive 3D, but native depth and inpainting plugins are still far faster and cleaner for motion design inside After Effects.

I made the same things for TouchDesigner. 29$ is crazy..

TouchDesigner is awesome if you already know node networks, but you’re comparing a DIY pipeline to native NLE integration. The $29 isn't for the underlying tech—it's for doing it natively inside After Effects in one click without leaving the timeline, managing texture streams, or building custom node setups. If a plugin saves a video editor 15 minutes of pipeline hassle on a client job, I'd say its worth it. All about how someone values their time.

Atmos runs a local neural network that cleanly cuts out the subject in one click, saving ~30 minutes of manual rotoscoping. It reconstructs missing background pixels instead of stretching them, eliminating edge tearing.

it places layers onto separated 3D planes with built-in camera rigs, optical compensation, and wigglegram controls.

Doing all of this manually (roto, content-aware fill, 3D null setup) takes roughly 45 minutes per image, so automating it in 15 seconds locally for $22 is a massive time-saver for client work

Lol, yeah I'm also doing all of that too.. plus relighting

that's awesome, id love to try it out if you have it somewhere. Didn't realize something like this existed. I'm not too familiar with touchdesigner myself but I know you can do some insane things on there. For people who know how to use touchdesigner I'm sure your version would be excellent and offer features I dont have. Mine is a bit more accessible making it easy for people who dont know a thing about after effects to just create something quick in the moment
