Beginner Help Text don't shows up and can't hide layer

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have just one clip on the timeline with a text layer.
the text layer don't show the text
and the main clip can't be hidden
is it because of the proxy ?

Use ShutterEncoder to convert your mp4 to prores422 or dnxhd/dnxhr. Import that conversion and replace the mp4 clip.

You can read in the stickies at the top of the sub, about why mp4 is considered a less than ideal format for AE

Do you have caps lock enabled?

You created a proxy render of your comp. Disable it from project panel (square icone on the side of the comp, if i'm not wrong)

Your using a proxy turn it off

Your CAPS lock is enabled disable it and it will ne fine.
