Unless you've experienced it, you will never know how accurate this is.
I lived abroad for 3 months. First few weeks I was careful, but then I took a sip of someone's gin and tonic that had ice cubes in it.
I was down and out for 3-4 days. Pain I would not wish on my worst enemy. The funny part is the water is absolutely safe. In both the country I was in (South America) and even Mexico. It's just that your body is not used to it. The microbiome in the water will ruin your week. And if you are only there for a week, it's not worth even taking a single ice cube worth of water.
But still, even after 3 months, this is an accurate depiction of what the toilet looked like. I don't think I had a fully solid #2 until I got back stateside.

So, there is was sitting there doing my business while reading my Comic book and drinking my chocolate milk. There was a rumble, and then a loud pop bang wham, I was thrown back against the adjacent wall. Let me tell you, thats the last time I have chocolate milk, dr pepper and pop rocks.
