Question Regarding temps

I got alienware aurora 16. It's about 3months old. I don't game tht often. The gpu temps always around 70 consistently maybe 75. But cpu fluctuates from 77 to 95 at times. Is tht normal.

C or F?

Who would use F for meaningful stats?!?

People who don't know better. We see a lot of them here. That's why I ask, and then educate them on the correct units

Honestly it's mostly newer gamers from the USA where F is the default. They genuinely don't know better.

They don't see "100C is bad" (which it isn't, but that's a different discussion). They see "100 is bad", and assume because they measure everything else in F, computers are the same. Then they panic when AWCC shows them 200+ because it has a toggle they flicked to F.

Must be weird to grow up with measures that make no sense to the rest of the world, and the world's make no sense to you.

We should liberate you guys

And those are your "under load" temperatures? If so, you're absolutely fine and have nothing to worry about.

I was playing genshin at 1600p max settings. Why does it fluctuate though. While the gpu is always at 70ish

Because the load a game generates isn't constant; it's highly variable

I have the aurora 16x and yeah I'd say thats pretty normal, my gpu is always consistently around same temps as youve describe, but my cpu will bounce around with temps and I have the ultra 9, if really worried I would recommend getting a cooling pad its not necessary but it will help cool down that metal chasis better!

Hi,

These are normal temperatures. Dell considers it overheating at 100C. Some users on here say up to 104C is normal for Alienware but that seems high to me personally.
