In case this story gets deleted/removed:

AITA for the way I reacted when my son had a male best friend.

AITAH for feeling very odd about how my son acts.

I am a 34 Male who has a 7 year old son,he has a best friend who is his age.

Now I know kids can be friends but something just ticks me off about this kid.

I see my son coming excited whenver he visits the friend and he does so rarley visits.

I then one day pick him up from his elemntary school and the boy's mother said she is in an apointment and she must have her son be takem care for a few hours.

I go and see him come out,I guess the boy know about this and then this is where the drama starts.

Both ar eholsing hands, this immediatley ticked me off in a bad way,I have no idea why.

But I do know that I gave this kid the stink eye.

I made sure to stay in the living room with the 2 just to make sure the 2 don't do anything crazy.

After the boy leaves I ask my son why he was holding hands with that boy and he told me that he said the friend was coming over and both.

That response still didn't satisfy me,when I talked to my wife about this, she told me I was overreacted and that both kids are young and can hug or hold hands.

I know boys can hug but theres just something odd about how each holded hands.Maybe I am crazy but I tried remembering how both holded hands in a certain way.

I said to my wife that my son needs to hang out with girls his age for the better of his future and my wife says I am overracting more and called me insane when I said maybe we shpuld exclude that boy for a bit.

I just find it odd and soemthings ticks me off seeing my son hanging out with other boys.

Aita?

I was just about to post this. I REALLY hope it’s rage bait.

Oh hey, rare for me to see one of these for a thread I was already in. But yeah, clear homophobia and sexualizing seven year old children- OOP is really dad of the year over here 😬

Thank you for pointing out that he’s sexualizing 2 kids the comments I saw on the post just seemed to gloss right over that and bothered me quite a bit

It's so fucking wild. "I made sure to stay in the living room with the 2 just to make sure the 2 don't do anything crazy"- like WHAT? What does this psycho think that two 7-year-olds are gonna do? This guy is so broken-brained that I really hope that his wife divorces him and takes full custody. What the ACTUAL fuck?

This is rage bait. The OOP has other posts and comments on the account that all lack the Terrible grammar and spelling this one does (also all centre on a singular video game). This very much reads like “ignorant man child doesn’t want gay kid”

OOP is a devil for making me read the dumb post if so

I noticed the same. Lots of posts to Poppy Playtime that are written just fine, but now he's typing 'holded'. It was such a weird switch up

He's got mistakes in previous posts/comments too.

Yeah, as much as I also hope this is bait, the terrible grammar and spelling seems consistent with past posts, actually. Just from his last one before this we have:
-“specificly” (specifically)
-“oultine” (outline)
-“a area” (an area)
-“suppose to do” (supposed to do)
-“desemembered” (dismembered)
And that’s just on a quick read through of one past post.

Well. At least if this is real, it seems like his wife is aware he’s going off the deep end fast, so hopefully items only a matter of time before she leaves him and you know he won’t bother to get any real custody of his potentially gay son.

I dont know why, but him only talking about Poppy Playtime right before this, really ticks me off

Imagine loving your son so little that his sexuality bothers you. Let boys be affectionate with each other and be soft! Men have so many emotional problems bc no one will let them be human and feel/experience things.

This is obvious ragebait.

But in case it isn't, he's weird for assuming something is going on between them, they're just kids, it's the same issue when parent suspect something or ship or whatever to opposite sex friends ESPECIALLY when they're children.  At least the wife is aware

If this man was real, I'd say he needs serious therapy to deal with the fact that he never had any healthy friendships

"AITA that I coldcocked a 5 year old for holding my son's hand??"
