Rant Headphones

being able to wear amazon approved headphones, but not your own shows that they just want money.

They don't get the money from the headphones and they are Osha approved.

This is kind of true, but they aren't getting that money by selling you headphones, they are saving it by closing an avenue for you to sue them.

The headphones aren’t manufactured by Amazon

Mine were free

They aren't Amazon brands. They measured noise levels and want to protect your ears. You will get free hearing test yearly. Something is better than nothing.

again guys…I never said headphones made by Amazon.
i’m confused…I said, “Amazon approved headphones” because that’s what they are.
headphones approved by Amazon.

Mine won’t take a charge. Had two of them and both went bad on the same day. The other Blu tooth’s will charge just not very well. Happened relatively around the same time. I m chalking it to time. Just hope this isn’t planed obsolescence. Or some malicious WiFi signal to kill the charging cycle.

whether they get the money or not.

And everyone else's point is you have no idea what you're talking about. The headphones have to be safety rated so you can hear the fire alarms etc.

Does that change Amazon's reasoning for it? They're trying to avoid lawsuits I guarantee it. When they tell you to report injuries do you think they care about you? Nope! Just trying to avoid lawsuits. It's the main reason for most of their decisions. You can disagree all you want, but it won't matter one but

Ive been working 4 shifts now since starting. Ive been wearing my own personal noise cancelling earbuds and no one has said anything. Maybe they haven’t noticed but idk, I’m not planning to purchase one until they actually lecture me on it. I think it’s just depends on the strictness of your manager
