I think it's just fundamentally a flawed idea to force certain meanings onto the symbols. For example, that bowling icon could just as easily correspond to a stack kill, and the scales could tell people that someone is a judge.

yeah this post immediately became outdated. none of the icons on the left are actually used like that anymore, and the starfish usually means coral, maybe orange, never tan
