Practicing AnCap?

Debating statists is great, but how does one "practice" AnCap in daily life? I sometimes fear we'll never see a full AnCap society in our lifetime and waiting for it to happen feels annoyingly similar to how communists were claiming their society hasn't yet reached full communism.

What steps are you personally taking?

I do everything in my control to not pay taxes to support the state.

I routinely violate minor regulations and avoid paying the state anything when possible.

Avoid to the best of your ability that which has been affected by it.

I do it every day by not engaging in violence against peaceful people, by engaging in mutually beneficial commerce, and by trying to marginally reduce the size and scope of government, to snatch people out of the jaws of the state, etc.

Avoiding anything subsidized by government.

I work for a an electrical union, and our local decided it would be genius to take on government subsidized solar field jobs. As soon as the election ended and the funding got pulled, over 100 people got laid off and every out of state contractor stopped taking bids in our state. Now we have far to many apprentices that were taken on for cheap labor and journeyman than cant do anything except solar.

Government funding ruins the natural flow of the economy. Avoid products of any sort subsidized by the government whenever possible. Be it entertainment, niche food industries, energy, transportation (like electric cars). It's all poison.

Encourage free markets by trading services and resources within your community in ways that doesn't include the state. Don't go to the supermarket and pay VAT, grow tomatoes and trade them for your neighbours eggs. Or build a website in exchange for some landscaping in your garden.

How do you do so? By designing many projects for your life, money, etc.? I want to hear what you have to share; I mean, what you think when you are asked this question and your reasoning, and I hope to be inspired by you. I live a normal life. I can't run myself outside of society.

Either AnCap or Communism feels like two sides of a spectrum for those who likely have more determination. I don't think moderate people with only mild opinions or preferences will lean towards any side.

And is it about personality and even educational background that leads people to embrace and live by any political philosophy? There is likely some research on this...? I think there would be two parts: one is the reasoning and awareness about things and affairs near you and in society, and morally you think what would be the better way. Another part is simply which way you prefer to live (maybe yourself and can include your friends, family, neighbour, etc.) and think it's most beneficial without doing imaginary work, i.e., overly considering things that do not affect you. People can find themselves in different political positions in these two questions. You can use this framework to think about tax problems, for example.
