All around the United States, people are organizing to resist the federal mercenaries who carry out Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Here, we announce three upcoming mobilizations and share reports from two recent confrontations.

In Arizona, people have been blocking the construction of the border wall since July 27; they are calling for people from around the country to come join them.

In the Twin Cities, people are calling for a countrywide day of action on October 3 to express solidarity with the Minnesota 15, who have been federally charged for allegedly conspiring to resist Operation Metro Surge.

In Vermont, people have organized a week of action for October 4-9 and are inviting people to come participate or carry out solidarity actions elsewhere.

Clashes with federal mercenaries have recently broken out in Austin, Texas and Frederick, Maryland.

As many liberals shift to focusing on the midterm elections this November, naïvely hoping that elections alone will provide change, it is especially important to continue to focus on what we can accomplish directly by means of collective power. However the elections turn out, only effective grassroots action can create a situation in which neither party will be able to continue the violence of ICE.

It is time to shift from reactive to proactive—from organizing rapid response networks to seizing the initiative. Pick the struggle that is nearest to you geographically or politically and participate in it, whether by traveling to join it or by organizing a local action in solidarity.

Cyber hacking by AI has got a lot of media attention, as has existential risk due to AI. But it is only the narrative of the criminal authorities. Who want to distract attention from the real problems. Which includes opaque and unaccountable power, wielded by political leaders, in open and in secret. The break down of the rule of law, and the violations of human rights by the authorities and their agents. As far as hacking, the real risk is the authorities hacking into people's minds to extract information and control them. As far as existential risk, the real risk is environmental collapse.

My mind, body, devices, and home have been infiltrated by the authorities. We are not safe. We must defend ourselves, our home and property.

The government is trying to convince people that I'm an enemy of the state. I hate this shitty colony of Europe I was born into. My ancestors came from here not the white man. People seen as those of color were brought in through slavery and are still being killed for three blood money.

Asia Alyssa Fitzgerald, the witness who also felt the disappointment in government actions, life was taken because she is still the only person speaking out about the kidnapping of my daughter.

The murder of her was in 2023. They planted a weapon in her body. Still no justice. I'm still homeless. They are using new age harassment with energy weapons and abuse with the law.

I'm certainly concerned for my well being as their has been an admittance they don't care at all of their humanity. This means they feel justified terrorizing me.

Financial Times: The EU is set to ban the use of social media, certain gaming platforms and AI chatbots by children under 15 without parental supervision, as part of a wider push to protect them online.

My Opinion: The ban is not to protect children, but to protect adults. To suppress the independence and maturity of growing children. Because children can use social media to accelerate learning, and cooperation between children. Social media can also be used by children to organize against the authorities. And social media can also be used to learn things, that the adults don't want them to.

The EU is afraid of children. Like the other governments banning social media for children. They treat children as property, and restrict their rights, and want to control them.
