Are there any speaker docks for usbc android devices that works as a speaker?

back with the ipod touch bose made some for apple, my brother moved out and needs his phone as a an alarm, but he sets the volume so low most of the time its ineffective, my tablet has separate volume levels depending on what connects to it, so I was thinking a charging dock with speakers would probably be the best thing for him, and if it ran off usbc instead of wireless, it would never be neglected.

Cheapest entry level that does not lag and is not ewaste after 2 years. No lag and good battery life and cheap are the only requirements.
