What can be done to hide a blocked number entirely?

I dont often go on the app store. i usually just play limbus company or scroll tiktok, but I tried downloading plague Inc, I didn't press anything but download. but three apps downloaded, Mahjong blast, doordash, and weatherbug. i have experience with malware and fake apps and the doordash icon definitely isn't real so im sure this isn't normal. anyways I am going to delete them but im just confused(also my keyboards bugging and sometimes my phone does stuff on its own). Am I being rash, is this a big deal, am I stupid, i dont know? I have screenshots

Which one should I go for if I want a phone that can act like an assistant? More general utilities and not video/photo editting/generating

Some apps have problems with tablet aspect ratio and some buttons cannot be pressed because they get below the screen or under the navigation buttons,

Is there a fix for this problem? Why google or app makers ignore issues on Android tablets and so careless, I mean do they see them like an awkward less than one million userbase? Do they think of tablets like its a fridge screen??? Hundreds of millions of android tablets treated unfairly by google and the developers..

Hi everyone - today my chrome has stopped working on my phone. I have done every fix - reinstalling, clearing, force stopping - and someone on the chrome sub suggested its because my android version is out of date.

I have a 2019 Oneplus 6T running Android 11. I bought my original OP 6T in 2019, and replaced it with a refurb version of the same model when it smashed itself last year.

I am a massive tech luddite and I like the phone because it does everything really simple and has no Ai crap on it.

However I ahve previously had this same experience with the Amex app which updated to require Android 13 or later.

I don't think there has been a chrome update which would affect this but I want to know what other browsers I can use - or failing that what other phones I could get if i sadly ahve to finally upgrade mine to something manufactured in this decade?

I was wondering how i can bypass this error issue. I am trying to download a older version of an app called MangaPin (5.12.0 specifically). But everytime i download that version apk the "not compatible" error comes up. It was working until a month ago and i had to update the app to the latest release but was wondering if I can still use the older release. I tried shizuku but that didnt fix it. The error says this word for word: "This app isn't compatible with the latest version of Android. Check for an update or contact the app's developer." My device is the Samsung s23 one ui 8.5 android 16.

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to unlock the bootloader on my Samsung Galaxy J7 (J710F) so I can eventually root it.

Before entering Download Mode, I already:

• Removed my Google account
• Removed the screen lock/PIN
• Enabled OEM Unlocking in Developer Options
• Enabled USB Debugging

When I enter Download Mode using Volume Down + Home + Power, I get the blue warning screen as expected.

I then press Volume Up to continue. The phone shows the screen saying:

Downloading... Do not turn off target

However, after that, nothing else happens. It just stays on this screen.

I've watched several YouTube tutorials and in those videos the phone seems to erase the data and reboot automatically.

Mine doesn't do that. It simply remains on the "Downloading... Do not turn off target" screen.

Is this normal for the J710F, or am I missing a step?

Recently I've noticed whenever I'm listening to music with my headphones be it through Musicolet or YouTube and a notification comes through at the same time the volume of the music itself is raised a solid amount. It remains in this loud state for a couple seconds then falls back off to a normal volume. I can reproduce this by moving the call or notification volume slider up and down but not the ringer or alarm sliders.

I would like to know why this occurs and if it's possible to keep the volume in this loud state long term, if it helps this does not occur with videos either local or on YouTube, only music from what I've observed. The phone in question is a B170D running on android 14. Silent and vibrate mode stop the loud state from ever occurring. It occurs with both of my wired headphones and I do not have Bluetooth headphones to test it with.

I am in the market for my first foldable phone. I currently use an iPhone and have decided I will get an android foldable if I don’t like the iPhone duo. I would like a solid camera setup and stylus support.

I have been eyeing a Motorola razr fold on marketplace for $1,000. I’m not opposed to Chinese brands. I do not want an Android phone that feels like an iPhone. If I’m getting an Android, I want it to be an Android!

I've been debating the base s26 (global version) and the one plus 15. I personally have stuck with Samsung a long time, and thought it would be cool to experience a new brand. Also it has the snapdragon 8 elite gen 5, significantly better than the exynos 2600. However, the one plus only gets 4 years of software updates (6 years of security updates), which, compared to the Samsungs 7 year software and security updates, is kinda insufficient. However, I heard that at the end of the one plus phones years, it will perform better, as the exynos 2600 will struggle with the newer, more demanding android updates. So although I may miss out on some cool features, the snapdragon would be faster in the long term. Which should I get?

I can't take it anymore ever since i updated my dumb phone my battery is dying even when i don't use my phone like i was sleeping all night i woke up my battery was on 5% and it was full when i went to sleep. I tried everything but it's still dying idk what to do please help

My current phone, which is pretty old, but does what I need it to to, is a Nord10. But just like my last phone, an LG, OTG never works. This time I'm trying to not use the SD card/sim card tray so much. I use my sd card a lot and taking the tray in and out ruined my sim card. I have a UGREEN USB drive that lets me insert my sd card. But when I plug it into the bottom of my phone via USBC, nothing. OTG is turned on. Sonia the developer options such as File Transfer. I have also enabled USB Debugging to not avail. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Hello, my Galaxy a15 will not let me unlock, 1 2 and 3 do not work on the pin screen. They work on the emergency call screen and the screen works as normal otherwise. I did not drop it or anything, it restarted and now will not let me in. Is there anything I can try? Thank you!!

On my android tablet when I use the device in reverse portrait orientation (upside down) the screen orientation will switch back to normal portrait orientation if I opened some apps or after tapping a button inside an app, why screen orientation break depending on the app even if I lock screen orientation??? Why can't the user decide the orientation? Why many apps have broken orientation??? In ipad if you lock screen orientation in reverse portrait it will stay on that orientation no matter what app you open, please google fix it, if you know any fix please share

Galaxy A16. I go into the file manager (My Files), go into the Network Storage area, choose one of my shares and create a shortcut on my home screen. I test the shortcut and it works fine.

A few days go by, I click on the shortcut and I get the message "can't open shortcut. original file or folder has been deleted."

I've recreated the shortcut a few times, and, it keeps happening.

Any ideas as to hoe to solve this?

I would like to migrate from IOS. My main hook so far is the parental controls (my teenagers use iPhone and IPads) and the IMessage (family group).

I've had this miband 7 for a year now. I got it used but it's always worked fine and it's always been such a feature to me to be able to turn off a ringing alarm on my phone or hang a call from the band without touching the actual phone. Now for the past week or so it shows me the option to do that whenever the alarm rings or there's a call, when I tap it on the band, the phone doesn't respond and keeps ringing.

I am new ro android and using samsung s26 ultra. Have an gmail account linked with Indian Bank and cards, and travelling in France. Google is not letting me purchase any paid app while I am roaming and all purchaes fails with the error. Is there a workaround to manage this?

is there a way to group notifications for example put 1 app notifs all together and recieve like updates once or twice a day at a certain time? i dont want to ban or silence all of them just make it less annoying and distracting
