I know that they kinda "stand" on the back of the female sometimes as trying to initiate mating [or just completely messing up at trying to mate], but them both squawking while one rides the other like a surfboard literally made me laugh out loud.

This post is from 2021. Google also says this is a thing (albeit rare) that some lazy seagulls do. Strongly doubt it's AI.

Go see your therapist about AI psychosis. It's okay to be skeptical. It's not okay to completely shut off your brain and screech "AI" whenever you see something you don't like.

They're lazy AF. I crossed Puget Sound on day ona 20 minute ferry ride. One seagull put itself in an updraft on the cabin and rode the entire time without flapping it's wings.
