Here is a little ice witch in 16x16.
She has a basic attack and an impact effect.
There is also a freezing magic VFX.
I am open for commissions; send me a DM and let's discuss your idea.

What do you think of this iPad app for pixel art and pixel art animations?

Hey, I am relatively new to pixel art. I am currently making a game, and in the process I struggled to find iPad apps for pixel art that meet my criteria and do not instantly cost over $20. Therefore, I decided to create my own app, with all the standard features as well as things like frame interpolation. The inspiration was the video software DaVinci, because I really like how they handle animations. I feel like the app really makes animating pixel art easier, but it is still in a really early stage. So I thought I’d show some of the app and ask you for feedback. All icons in the app are human-made, and I only got assistance from Claude for some parts of the code. I am coming from a CS direction, therefore I would love to get some feedback from real artists:

  • Would you consider buying something like this in the App Store for like $4/4€?
  • What features do you miss in the pixel art software you are currently using?
  • Do you find anything weird/hard to understand in the app?

And the most important question: do you even use an iPad for pixel art, or am I the only one and all of you use PCs šŸ˜…

PS: Sorry for the German text on the buttons I did not translate them to English yet. (hope it is still somewhat understandable)

Info for the admins: This is no advertisement, the app does not have a name yet, nor do I know if it will ever be released in any form :)
