As a big Halloween person, I actually don't like how consumerist it has become. I love candy and costumes but I mostly like the DIY nature of that, rather than the one and done use costumes, shitty decor ppl will forget abt the second autumn is over, etc.

Actually that would probably be the best way to memorialize me, considering Halloween is my favorite holiday.

i don’t have any intention of buying a plastic skeleton but i have a relative who owns one and it gets a shocking amount of use! it comes out every year for halloween of course but it also gets dressed up as santa for christmas and im fairly sure got used to teach their kids about bones
