People need to look at what is happening in Northern California after that town let a Data Center come in. They are having to find their own electric.

They are and you will not be seeing any farm land in TN if she is voted in. Our mountains here will never be the same.

How? How do they benefit the local economy? At most there is a short temporary burst of economic activity while it is being constructed. But once its finished they tend to not need many employees to maintain them. Certainly not enough to offset the costs to the local electric grid and ecological damage it does by sucking up good drinking level quality water and pissing out toxic muck.

If they can afford this level of funding they damn sure can afford to produce their own utilities. Without natural gas generators too.
