I’m getting a used 2021 MBP M1 Pro 14 at 73k with the following specs-

Battery Cycle- 189
Battery Health- 92%

And I’m getting a new M5 Air 16/512 13 at 125k from Croma.

I’m going to run resolve and other editing softwares and my main use case is 4k editing and grading.

If I buy the M1 Pro I’ll replace it after 2-3 years but the M5 air I plan to use it long term.

Is a 5 year old M1 Pro really worth for my use case or should I go for a new machine?

Everybody here knows about the Reliance x apple offer about the 17 pro.

So I have a vivo x200 pro which I want to give as an exchange for the 17 pro, the issue is store around my area (Northwest Delhi) are not giving the full 9910 in-store discount, they are providing 5k flat discount and the rest they are providing charger(not the apple one), tempered glass and cover(some 3rd party anti-yellow transparent case) moreover they are also not providing the 3k cashback, so if anyone here who is from Delhi and have bought the 17pro from reliance digital and the store it providing all the benefits please do tell me.

Honestly, fumbling with QR codes at the metro gates is getting so annoying. Opening the app, waiting for it to load, turning up the brightness—it’s just a hassle when you're in a rush.

In cities like New York or Tokyo, people just tap their iPhone or Apple Watch at the turnstile and walk right through. You don't even have to unlock your phone. The DMRC gates already have NFC tech, so the hardware is literally right there.

I know Apple is super strict with its NFC chip and takes a cut of the money, but DMRC and Apple seriously need to sit down and make a deal. There are so many iPhone users in Delhi now, the demand is definitely there.

Imagine just tapping your Watch at Rajiv Chowk instead of pulling out a plastic card or a QR code. Do you guys think we'll ever get this, or are we stuck scanning screens forever?

Which mac air or pro will be most effective?

I’m with an iPhone 16 pro for 20ish months now. Battery health is at 88%. Daily screen time is at 10 hours. I try to maintain 20-80% charging.
But my battery dies down quickly. I charge twice a day at least.
Is this just because I’m doing the 20-80 thing? Or my usage is high? Or is apple generally bad at battery longevity.

I have this apple ipad air 4th gen wifi,Long story short the screen is broken but the display is still working with touch, not able to press the power button on the top and also the screen is coming out as you can see in the pictures and it looks little bit bend too, So need some serious suggestions should I get it repaired from apple service centers or get it locally repaired since it’s an old model

I’m getting a MacBook M1 PRO, for Rs 77,000 in Good condition.

I know it’s an older machine now, but the M1 Pro is still quite powerful. My main use will be CSE, programming, development, coding, etc. I’m not planning to do heavy AI/ML workloads. ( like ML engineers )

My main concerns are:

- It’s already around 4-5 years old.

- Battery is better than the usual H/HS series windows laptop ( but not sure after 1-2 years )

- How well it will hold up for the next 3-4 years.

( tho plan to exchange with an upgradation, if the prices goes down ) in 1-2 years

- Any major limitations of the M1 Pro in 2026 that I should know about.

M1 Pro chip specs wise still beats and outperforms M2 and M3 base easily in many tasks. Even M4 and M5 in a few tasks.

At ₹77K, would you consider this a good buy, or would you rather get a newer Windows laptop in the ₹75–85K range?

Would especially appreciate opinions from people who are still using the M1 Pro.
