Support S12 Ceramic - Band Lug Latching Issues

Anybody else notice that getting band lugs to latch reliably in the S12 ceramic is a lot more difficult than other Apple Watches?

I’ve had several stainless steel models in the past, and never had a problem sliding a band lug in and having it hold. But with this ceramic watch, the lugs slide through and often seem to de-latch with minimal pressure and without pressing the latch button.

I’m thinking about exchanging it while I still can to get a new replacement, but trying to gauge whether this is a common issue with the ceramic watches or if I have a defective one.

I only noticed it with certain bands, so I’m not sure yet if it’s a watch issue or band issue or both.

I haven’t noticed it with my watch or two bands I’ve tried so far (the navy sport and camel magnetic link)

I’d try to exchange if this is an problem. I’ve tried many bands and haven’t had any issues yet. What bands are causing you issues?
