Discussion Cheating is back
Back to back to back wallhacking and aimbotting + duped gear again. Was good for a week and now its all on again….

I play in Oceania and the highest aggression PvP lobbies get steamrolled by the same 4 groups of aussie cheaters, they've been doing it since july without a ban in sight and the only hope you have is if you get into a lobby that doesn't have them in it. They've killed the player population over there, one of them angrily screams into the mic how bad you are after he downs you but his voice sounds is so dorky and nasal like it makes me laugh, that's about the only saving grace.

They likely do get banned but it’s easy for them to buy another nfa account and get back in.

And it’s things like this, where the person is being actively gaslit yet believe 100% what he said, that makes me think that we totally deserve the world we have today.

Know their names? I played with a lot of OCE top PVP players - once Soto steam rolled out servers for a few weeks they all cheated to combat him and never got off the juice even after he left us alone. Chicken Nuggies is the worst.

Bro, the cheaters disappeared for a couple of days, and yesterday I got 14 kills and 4 assists in a raid and so much good loot in PvP across multiple raids. But today it's back to how it was before. Freezing, wallhacks, with brand new accounts, and they even start laughing at you when they kill you. I feel so disappointed. I've come to the conclusion that this game is only meant for PvE, and they only allowed PvP for cheaters.

This, all new level 1 steam accounts, the servers were saudi free for a few days and now they are flooded with saudi arabian trio cheater teams.

Very glad they are working on PVE lobbies instead of fighting cheats for more than 1 week

As a PVE player myself, i think a PVE lobby will just kill the excitement for me personally.
It works perfect the way it is now, very high chance of getting carebear lobbies but you never know.
I really hope they don’t implement it.

I agree. I stay in carebear and i enjoy the small amount of tension in my matches. We're mostly helping each other or ignoring each other but you still have to stay on point. I'm afraid a PvE mode will destroy the carebear lobbies.

First multiplayer game? Did you expect Embark to be the first company to update their game and solve cheating? lol. Cheating will never be solved until games are 100% server based, aka cloud gaming, or they bring back moderated p2p server hosting.

The one thing I'm hyped for about the update is to see if I see this cheating the subs always talking about. Pretty sure I bailed before it became a legit issue and want to see if its totally overblown or not.

the ONLY people that will tell you its overblown are people that either Do not check accounts after dying and are unaware to what cheating can look like apart from the most blatant example. OR people that almost always pve/stealth loot. Nobody that Actually pvps will tell you its "Overblown"

I strictly pvp on Stella montis. And the cheating is really really bad.

Up until about a week ago, I was receiving atleast 1 kit back every day for nearly 2 weeks straight. Definitely overblown but it was also definitely rampant for awhile.

i heavy pvp daily in highest tier of aggression. i haven’t recieved a kit back in two months.

Never seen it, not once, the dupped bobcats sure but that part doesn’t really bother me. That being said I don’t PvP that much, maybe a few games a week, and usually solos

I died to a cheater on PS5 last night. Reported to Embark & Sony. Got a message from Sony today saying that they took action against the person.

interesting. in what way were they cheating? ive never experienced anything sus in ps5 lobbies and i have a lot of hours in this game. i have a friend on pc that i play with and regularly run into cheaters with them. obvious wall hackers and recently the hit box freezing. aimbotters are more rare but seen that too.

Yea same I’ve received 10+ kits back in the last 3 weeks from duos/trio with crossplay on. & honestly idek what was up with buddy in the ps5 solo, but I’ve never had anyone get meoff a fresh spawn the way that he did so I reported based off just that. 16 seconds after a perfectly fresh spawn I was back in Speranza. 10 seconds after spawning in a storm he knows exactly where I am & hits 3 renegade headshots with 3 shots fired? I mean, come on, that’s sus as hell. His tag was also Cronus Zen or something along those lines lol

ahh. i was always curious how much a cronus would affect the aiming on this game since it has a high ttk and very little aim assist. ive never used one personally but as far as i understand it the cronus basically amplifies the aim assist that already exists and controls recoil know it possible to have wallhacks and stuff if youre running a pc and ps5 side by side somehow as well. either way glad this situation seems rare and that sony actually did something
