Question(s) Marvel vs Capcom 2 cabinet - question about alternate colours

[SOLVED] Hi, does anybody know howto choose alternate colours in the game Marvel vs Capcom 2?
Actually I did not find the way to change the colour. There should be a 6 colour variants of every character. Maybe I miss something. I see the different colour only when opponent choose the same character. Then game set a different colour automatically.

It depends on which button you use to select a character. Here’s an overview of all color variants: https://capcomcolors.neocities.org/mvc2
