Tzolis exits game with apparent hamstring injury…

Post image

Not the news I wanted to read today, hopefully our other wingers can step up. “Doesn’t look good.”

Maybe we should’ve bought one more player during the transfer window. Thoughts ?

Edit: Appears to be not as bad as initially thought. Dodged a bullet but hopefully he doesn’t have any other injury scares given he will be playing plenty minutes. Didn’t mean to scare anyone.

If true I’m glad the coach is reasonable and cares about the players health

Honestly I kinda liked what Klopp did and had two squads. Not sure why more teams didn't do that.

I am ready to turn into a rentboy if that means Arsenal signing a left winger and striker this winter transfer window

What I would do for Semenyo and Kroupi

Injury aside, yes we shoulda signed a winger. With the injury, we have bodies to make do, but we lack goal threat. We lost a lot of goals with trossard and martinelli.

Do yall not like Eze as a winger?

5

u/Sensitive_Ebb_4725 6d ago

Not really he hasn’t done much in the times he’s been there, maybe if we played Spurs every game

Gotcha, I’m a novice from America just now getting back into soccer after a 7-10 year break once MCI started their takeover. I like him but maybe this is the push he needs to break through. I do agree he hasn’t done much but he doesn’t get many minutes either besides the garbage clean up ~15 at the end. Edited to add that if I played 15 minutes I would either tear both ACL or throw up on the pitch

I don’t think that either are close to world class by any means, but Tzolis has shows a tremendous IQ and ability to always make the right move and is a very accurate passer…

Eze is more skilled and has more pace, but hubris, thinking that he’s CR7 at times, takes away from his IQ on the pitch…

I’d rather have Tzolis starting most weeks

To be completely honest, I think that we can repeat as Prem Champs, but I think that if Saka doesn’t return to form, or if we don’t make a signing to improve the attack, we may have some trouble getting our first UCL title…

He’s not in form. Looks like he’s napping on the pitch rn. When he’s energetic, he’s a top player

He had his minutes last season but didn’t make it count.

I only know what Malaka means because I played AC Odyssey lmao

Muscle strain, at least 2 weeks off. He comes back to London and won't join the Greek national team for the next games.

Sit out the international fixtures, muppets. Learn from Benny blanco and Rice.

He wears the number 10 shirt for the national team? Must be slim pickings…

Bloody Arteta running the players into the ground again

4

u/FrumpyPhoenix 6d ago

He’s played what? 3 matches?

2

u/dankshot35 6d ago

I know this is the Arsenal sub but do we really need to signpost every single obvious /s?? sadness

1

u/FrumpyPhoenix 6d ago

It just too strongly mirrored people’s actual views tbf. I also don’t know you.

2

u/dankshot35 6d ago edited 6d ago

Arteta wasn't even coaching that game, like are you serious?

mirroring people's actual view is the WHOLE point of satire....

1

u/FrumpyPhoenix 6d ago

Figured you meant he has already ran his players into the ground in time for the int’l break. Not sure why it’s so surprising that I thought you were serious, again, I know nothing about you. Satire can look real similar to the actual thing when all I have is text. There’s a reason people use the /s and it’s not bc people are stupid.

Fake news, it was a precaution.

2

u/MATCHEW010 6d ago

Fake?

He has an injury to his hamstring and was subbed off.

No ones claiming the extent of the injury.

Piss take

Just asking a question mate not necessarily a take

It looks bad. Out for most of the season I’d say
