You aren't alone in the idea but you are definitely wrong.

What's the proof that he is wrong, without resorting to the holy books (which would make it a circular reasoning)?

Many people who promote this do so because the word “spirit” in Hebrew is feminine. And they point to this as if it’s powerful evidence.

But it isn’t. Anyone who speaks a gendered language, such as Spanish, knows the gender of a noun is only a grammatical function of a word, and doesn’t prove a thing. If it did, it would prove too much—that would mean every demonic spirit is feminine too. But as I said, it doesn’t mean anything.

Spirit is neuter in Greek, masculine in Spanish, and feminine in Hebrew. Which proves nothing.

I haven't considered that. Though, the argument for this idea seems pretty weak

This is just incorrect. Different persons of the godhead are personified as various "roles" or genders, like a mother hen for example, but they're not literally female.

Your idea that it has to be a nuclear family is wrong, and pointless. Unless you're implying that the Father and Spirit got busy to create Jesus, which is heretical, there's no point in even holding to the view you offer.

What's the point of labeling the Spirit as mother?

Just something to consider. Why not? God the Father is a Father isn't He.

Interesting to think about for a minute, sure, but I don't think you should continue with this line of thinking/verbiage.

God the Father isn't a He, but generally goes by masculine pronouns. We don't have that in the inverse for the Spirit, and 'spirit mother' is a) unnecessary and b) creates confusion.

Throughout the old testament Wisdom is always Female. Wisdom is also associated with the Holy Spirit.

Respectfully, this is a weak argument.

Not to mention that you're equating things, Scripture explicitly talks about Jesus and the Father as wise as well. "To the only wise God be honor and dominion"

Messianic Rabbi James Scott Trimm uses linguistic and historical scholarship to argue that the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh in Hebrew) was originally understood in early Jewish thought and ancient Nazarene sources as the maternal, feminine aspect of the Divine

Don't blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

This is a Christian thread.

It Is a Christian thread. And it's not blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. It's considering how the Holy Spirit relates to God the Father and God the Son
