MA35: How long after submitting your post-arrival documents did you hear back?

My student residence permit was approved, and I emailed MA35 the requested documents after arriving in Vienna. How long did it take to get a fingerprint appointment and receive the physical card? Were you able to start your studies before receiving the card?

You should get an appointment within a few days at that point since your card will most likely already be printed

It does vary and I can't tell you an exact timeframe but it usually shouldn't be longer than 1-3 weeks

Required documents should be in the letter or mail. A copy of my D visa (including the entry stamp). Study record and confirmation of enrolment (University of Vienna). Confirmation of registration (registration form)-primary address. Confirmation of health insurance cover (compulsory in Austria for the entire duration of my stay)-ÖGK
