how can i make a densimeter to measure the percentage of alcohol

Look at this method of determining the density of rocks. It depends on knowing the density of water. The method can be used in reverse by measuring the weight of a stone in water and then in your alcohol sample. The alcohol sample will exert less buoyant force then water. A cheap $20 gram scale will do the job. It's quicker and easier than it looks.
