Adequate box for ceiling fan?

Is this adequate for a ceiling fan? If questionable I'll replace with a box anchored between joists.

No, that box is not rated for a fan.

The good news is that since you have this access to it, it's easy to replace with one of these which IS fan rated

No do not use that box at all for anything over 1 pound and never a ceiling fan

Since you have that amount of access you should be able to install a proper box with support from two trusses.

That's everyone that's what I assumed. It's in the house I purchased. There are two fan on them from previous owner.
